Ahh, yes. The aftermath of a Brown Recluse bite. Looks like he didn't get treatment fast enough. That hand is a goner.

This is definitely a serious matter if it involved a brown recluce.

I was bit on my right ankle by one when I was 10 and came dangerously close to losing my right foot.I still have a scar slightly smaller than a quarter on the inside of my ankle that I have no feeling in.

I would believe it....my wifes dad got bitten by a brown recluse at night while he was sleeping....didn't know it.....a few days later they ended up removing part of his calf muscle.
