Here is my How To Video on how I was able to retrofit these Articulating (Tri-Mode) Running Boards onto my 2016 Silverado LT. I'll have a complete parts list here shortly. Enjoy the video for now!2 points

Please forgive me for asking the obvious (but you know it’s coming)... Have you tried replacing the remote battery? I wish I knew more about the electronics in these things, but they’ve reached a level of sophistication approaching magic. M.2 points

Phil, I’m a little disappointed...... it’s been 2 weeks between when we talked about this mod and you posting the video. I mean what took so long? I kid! I kid! As always awesome work! I’m incredibly jealous of your skill/know how and i think I speak for everyone in saying thank you for continuing to pursue mods that allow us to OEM parts we normally would not be able to. Happy thanksgiving to you and yours Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk2 points

Took truck to town today and bought lunch for the family. Got burgers and fries and onion rings for 11 people and only spent $7.75 for all of it!!! Local place opened on Thanksgiving day in 1967 and they had a 50th party with opening day prices. A quarter pound cheese burger was $0.60 French fries were $0.30 and milk shakes were $0.50.1 point

The cell phone app works extremely well although it's not the method you are wanting. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk1 point

Just got a set of WildPeaks myself. Had a major internal debate between the falkens and another set of Goodyear Duratracs. Did as much reading as humanly possible across multiple forums and even different vehicles running them. While there was a big part of me that really wanted the Duratracs I ultimately chose the WildPeaks. It really came down to a few reason... 1) Cost: Falkens ended up being $78 cheaper a corner on my tire size 2) Looks: My local tire shop was nice enough to bring 1 of each tire in and allow me to compared them side by side in person. The Wildpeak just flat out looks more aggressive on my opinion 3) Reviews: This may sound backwards but I just couldn’t find a review that would make me not choose the WildPeaks. While I knew the quality of what I’d be getting with the Duratracs, there wasn’t anything from other Wildpeak reviews that made me feel like I was giving up much, if any at all.... 4) Warranty: The Wildpeak was the only tire I could find with a mileage warranty on an LT tire. Only had them on the truck for 200 miles but my initial thoughts are very good. The tires appear to be just as quite as the Duratracs. They also have done great in heavy rain. Furthermore I don’t notice any tread wobble or tram-lining. Looking forward to some snow testing for I consider myself completely satisfied Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

Yes sir it’s the same here in Texas except you can add green to the list of colors. And it’s also the same deal, obviously I can’t use the lightbar. But I find myself driving when it’s pretty late a lot and if I’m the only one on the road for miles I flip them on and keep on trucking, if a car comes I just turn them off, no harm done! But thank you sir! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

I can only speak on behalf of CT State Laws .. but those market lights are 100% LEGAL. You can have three colors for forward facing lights which are .. orange/white/amber. For rear facing you can add in red lights but can't have white steady. The only thing that could get you in a little trouble is using the pod lights and little light bar on the street. Now I wouldn't bust you for it but I can't speak for everyone. Love the build .. I'm looking to add some marker lights to my truck as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

2015 1500 z71 crew cab standard bed 4WD 2” BDS level 20x9 ET 20 Fuel Mavericks 275/65/20 Falken WildPeaks Have tried to induce rub every possible way. Currently I can only get it to do it going downhill in reverse at full lock. After having a buddy help me it’s been determined the rub is on the weathertech mudflaps and truck itself. Just goes to show a 34” tire is obtainable on a leveled 1500 with well thought out width/offset and a “skinnier” tire Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

Here is a picture of them in the grille. (Please Note) in any standard “Z71 Grille” there is only 3 of the spaces that are completely plugged off. However I wanted to not be mistaken for a raptor (trust me it still happens) so what I had to do was use “Jb Weld” for plastic and I cut some black plastic sheets that I had laying around and attached them with the Jb weld. I then marked the middle of each black space and drilled a hole just big enough to slide the thread of the lights through and wired each of them to themselves, leaving the last one with enough wire to tap into the parking lights. MAKE SURE to put the nut on the thread of each light before you wire them all together or else you will have to cut your wiring just to secure the lights, I used thread lock super glue to make sure the nuts wouldn’t back off and somehow the light fall out. CAUTION when tightening the nuts on the little lights because the threads are plastic and you can easily break them, hence why I used threadlock. If anybody has any questions please feel free to ask, I’ve gotten many compliments on the grille alone and I never thought it would be such a hit. I actually worried people would just start saying “why not buy a raptor” but thanks for the interest guys, hopefully this helps! And yes I do highly suggest doing this with the whole entire grille off the truck. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

I’d be more than happy to take pictures. And yes sir, they sure are. Obviously you can’t have the light bar and cubes on but the orange light is legal. I talked to a state trooper for reassurance. He said they are perfectly legal, as long as they are not red or blue and are not blinding. Which they are no brighter than the parking lights. They are wired into the parking lights so when they come on everything comes on Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

I'm the same way with mine! I have a 14 High Country 6.2 with just over 123k miles. No catch can ever. Had the AFM enabled up to 116k miles before putting a black bear tune on it. I drive it hard, borderline abuse it, and have no issues. I plan on doing heads and cam this winter and will do a detailed post to see how everything looks without having a catch can on for all these miles. I have no plans on getting rid of this pickup. So I'm curious on how many miles I get on it before anything major happens, if anything does.1 point

Because the charger is positioned toward the back, and with the way the pad is, the bumper on the backside pushes the phone forward away from the charger. So reversing the mat allows the phone to be positioned more toward the back1 point

Hello all, Bottom line up front: this upgrade is fantastic and pgamboa can make it happen for you! I just finished upgrading my 2017 Silverado (4WD All Star Edition) mirrors (side and rearview) from DL8 to DL3 using pgamboa's harnesses and assistance and they are fantastic! Just to reiterate: if you've got the standard mirrors and upgrade you gain: · Turn signals in side mirrors · Power folding side mirrors · Puddle lamps on side mirrors · Auto dim driver and rear-view mirrors (if you do the harness and rear-view mirror upgrade as well as the side mirrors) You will need: · DL3 Side mirrors (I bought mine from pgamboa) · Rear view mirror with autodim capability (pgamboa found an ebay auction for one for me) · Power folding switch (found this on ebay myself using Part # 23154702) · Custom door harnesses from pgamboa · Custom rear-view mirror harness from pgamboa · Basic tools (screwdrivers, ratchet set) and a set of trim tools (see link below) I was dubious about getting this done and everything working, I don't have a garage and am one of those "only works on cars when something's broke" kind of guys. I hadn't taken a door panel apart since I worked on my '90 Silverado like....15 years ago. I cannot stress enough how straightforward the whole thing was working with pgamboa. I bought a set of side mirrors and three custom harnesses (for both sides and rear view) from him and he had everything shipped out in less than 24 hours, with everything in my hands in four days, damn near Amazon fast. It took me about two hours to do the driver mirror and harness install given my inexperience, but every time I ran into a snag I just shot him a text and he set me straight. Passenger side I knocked out in a half hour, and rear-view mirror took me 2-3 mainly because I struggled getting the X61A junction harness accessible to add in the new terminals. At one point, I broke one of the terminal leads and pgamboa just mailed me some extras to get me moving again. Everything is working and I couldn’t be happier. If you’re a novice at this kind of work it might take you a little longer but the upgrade is VERY doable with his help, and if you’re more experienced you could knock it all out in an afternoon. If you buy pgamboa’s custom harnesses everything is literally drop in. I HIGHLY recommend going through pgamboa for everything, mirrors and power fold switch included if he has them on hand because if you run into any issues he will make it right. Advice wise: the zip tie on the wire bundle you need to access in the X61A box doesn’t have to be cut, you can pull it loose since it connects like a trim panel retainer clip and it’ll come down far enough to work on. That one tiny little thing is what cost me the most time on this entire install. Also, a set of trim tools is essential, I used these and they are great: https://www.amazon.c...0?ie=UTF8&psc=11 point

I always run the factory battery, once it is dead it gets replaced with an AGM battery at that point.1 point
