  1. My whole rear end was done w no fix on my first 14... Wish the best for you and hope it fixes it.
  2. I thought it was mostly the cc shorty and the dbl standard.
  3. Please do... I have a lot of time as well as money lost with my first truck
  4. My SRA's were garbage... I think GM is buying all of the manufacturers defect tires for nothing and trying to save some $.... 1000 miles later on my Nitto's and still smooth as glass!
  5. Washed, clayed, and waxed both! Only took 8 hours yesterday lol. PS 1000 miles later on new tires and still no vibrations! #Chevyrunsdeep!
  6. The LSU plate just makes this truck look bad...
  7. Sorry to hear...
  8. I went to Home Depot and bought 500 lbs of sand for a test and no change in vibs for me.
  9. Mine is a Z71 as well and it vibrated until I got new tires
  10. Just go buy a set of Michelin tires to "test" and if your vibs go away, keep em. If they don't, take advantage of the 30 day ride guarantee and return them
  11. What leveling kit did you use!?
  12. Now you can enjoy your 45k truck!
  13. I just drove to the highway today to go "for a drive" just because it makes me feel good to drive my truck
  14. Correct, I love it now. Rotate your tires and make sure your vibration follows the tires. That's how I knew 100% that's what my issue was. Mine also almost went away when I ran around 32 psi instead of around 42-45 which was the max on the SRA tires I believe.
  15. I feel bad for they guy who bought my first 14 off the used car lot... It wasn't there 2 days before someone bought it... Rear end and all replaced and it still had the vibs 70+. If you all stay persistent and mention lemon laws once your truck qualifies for them, you'll see how fast GM fixes your trucks.
  16. I was thinking about the RC 2.5 kit... Very tempting.
  17. I have an idea... Someone put their truck in M5 and go cruising down the highway at 75 and see if it goes away. This would eliminate the 6th gear which is where most of us are feeling it on the highway, and see if its a tranny problem.
  18. GM and my dealer ended up buying it back and now I have an LTZ Z71. My first was an LT 4x4. That truck had literally everything replaced and no fix. GM gave me "Trade in assistance" along with the 35 K the dealer gave me. I put a new set of tires on and its as smooth as glass now. I ended up paying like $1200 difference for the LTZ otd.
  19. My first truck was that bad... After they replaced pretty much everything rear or the tranny, including the rear end, it never got any better... Good luck
  20. Call GM, file a complaint and see how fast they start working on it.
  21. Great tires as well. I got the Terra Grapplers BC here in Florida we don't get too much snow lol. I've had them on my 06 as well and loved em. My dad has 15k on his Lt grapplers and they don't look worn off at all.
  22. Yes. You feel the road more with the higher pressure E rated tires but its totally worth it not to have vibrations though. Here's the site:http://www.nittotire.com/Tire/Grappler%20truck/terragrappler
  23. My newer of the 2 14's. Just put some 275 70 18 LT Terra Grapplers on and bed cover.
