  1. They can see if you have changed the factory calibrations, that goes for Black Bear as well who uses EFI Live.
  2. I can't remember who it was but a user on here put it best when he said "it sounds like drowning Wookies"
  3. I built my own intake, by tig welding up some aluminum tubing and am like you... Seen no gains in power and an increase in intake temps but I'm sure that was solely due to the aluminum tubing I used. After seeing the increase in temps and KR I quickly pulled it and went back to stock. I'm going to try the MIT as soon as I can find somebody willing to let one go for a decent price.
  4. Yes, I now have 2 fully tuned 6.2's finished with 1 other that just wanted some base parameter changes mainly in transmission changes
  5. You will get a hell of a lot better drivability tuning on a load bearing Dyno (Eddie current) and I can get a much more thorough tune in a fraction of the time. I would rather tune on the street than on a typical freewheel Dyno like the Dynojets most people use. I have had 2 mustang Dyno's and my next one will be mustang as well.
  6. Tapped? What material is tube made out of and how thick.
  7. Where do you want it sent to?
  8. PM me your email, I'll send you a little write up on trans tuning that will get you headed in the right direction. Jon A. Has been playing with his as well and may have some more 6.2 pointers. Jon seems pretty sharp.
  9. Have you done anything to it yet?
  10. I can confirm this as well but I only seen truly negative results on the F-body cat back cross flow crap... especially when compared to Magnaflow. I run flowmaster because I like the sound and on comparable dual exhaust setups, HP differences on my Dyno may have been a little less at peak HP but the curves were very comparable. The differences weren't worth it to me to give up the classic sound.
  11. I believe a user on here said that his tuner seen a Fuel Trim swing in his calibration but I did as well which was a whole 2.5%. You will see trim swings like that with changes in temperature, altitude and humidity which your ECU is perfectly capable of adjusting for. That's why it has Fuel Trims. ;). Will you gain more from a tune? Sure... It's just not necessary for that modification.
  12. Holy Coal Rolling Stove Pipe, Batman!
  13. You won't need a tune with a third cat delete.
  14. I'm not sure exactly what you are looking for but east coast supercharging ( eastcoastsupercharging.com ) does a lot of bad ass cars along with race proven motorsport which I believe have their own website as well. If you are mostly stock you may be just as happy with Black Bear who is a sponser on this forum.
  15. Do Not Get A Canned Tune! Justin and Lew can fix you up with minimal involvement from you, what little there is will be worth it. Or find a good local tuner and support them... I do stress GOOD though. Too many "tuners" around here that will not give you satisfactory results. Steve
  16. I don't claim otherwise, I just haven't heard anything that confirms this. My tunes do change the CVN's and probably anybody else will say the same thing. That is a HUGE selling point if their claims are true though... HUGE!
  17. I'm not sure if that alone will make a lot of difference other than in V4 mode. I never tried it personally so I have no first hand experience
  18. I would get a 5 or 6" from Home Depot, hell you could lock it down with a 2" clamp just wrapped around the two square heads on the valve end, its just a little harder to hold when you do it but not impossible by any means.
  19. After a good tune you will think it can pull your house off the foundation, even with 3:08, and especially if they know what they are doing on the transmission and E85 side of it, hell on E85 I am pretty sure I would paddle last years 6.2 at the track and give a stock '14 6.2 a run for their money.
  20. What Dave said... whats it going to hurt anyway, just put a $2 hose clamp on it for now and see if you like it. If you don't... crawl back underneath it and take 30 seconds to pull it back off. Its hard to go by what people think actually sounds good and the name Justin Bieber pretty much sums that statement up.
  21. Depends on how much pedel you are giving it. What you are seeing may be Torque management kicking in. Are you sure you are seeing fuel pressure drop? Email me a log file and I will take a look at it.
  22. I was the same way... And I said exactly the same thing, but I caved. The only reason I broke so early was because I kept my laptop plugged into the truck monitoring what it was doing for a couple months, then I fell off the band wagon. It was so much harder for me knowing I had the means right in my hand and it wasn't going to cost but just $100 for the two credits it takes to marry to a PCM. It's like a recovering alcoholic working as a bar tender... I was my own enabler.
  23. I had to bend mine, you can install them without bending them but they are very close to the seam and are probably the reason most people get noise and think their shocks are bottoming out. Once I installed mine I used my phone to take a picture and noticed I only had about 1/16" clearance so I bent them to make sure I wouldnt have any issues. I used channel locks to get the bend started then used My jack handle and hammer to finish the bend. Could have been a lot easier had I known ahead of time I would have to bend it. You could set shackles to 1" position and take 1" worth of block out from under axle. This would require no bending of seam
  24. Mines dropped in my sig
