The drop down menu only has it for the 2013. 2014 is a new truck.

I installed my bed lights on Friday and checked them out in the dark garage. It appears to be enough lighting with the cargo light and two under the bed lighting. I don't see a need to add any more lights to the bed.

I just picked up some GM bed lighting (23145347) - one set to put in back of my pickup. I was surprise the lights are all plastic which I thought it would be some metal to it. They were made in Mexico. No instruction came in the package so I am glad there are directions in this topic. I am not going crazy and just put them in the proper way. I picked up my through Shopchevyparts.com for $106.83 (total) shipped to the door. A lot better than the dealer at $135 plus CT tax $143.57 = $36.74 savings.

This is a good idea since crew cabs have 60% of the market and regular cabs only have about 10% and the double cabs have the remaining share. A lot of the outside venders don't make anything for the regular cabs. IE: Weather Tech (at this time) still doesn't make any side window deflectors and certain floor mats with 4 wheel drive shifter (WT) on the floor. Some of the high end step bars companies don't make anything for the regular pickup. The after markets have really cut back on special fitting products for regular cabs over the years.

I once had a vibration noise around or in my transmission on my new 2002 Chevy Silverado. It was driving me nuts. They checked everything underneath and protection shield etc. I went into the garage about 4 times. Finally they fixed and it was only a software issue which took them about 20 minutes to update the on board computer. I don't know if this is the case or part of it but I thought it was something loose underneath the truck. It was real nice when it was fixed.

Sorry TX I misplaced my camera and can't take any photos. The hole is in the middle of the frame when you look inside the wheel well. The part I used was GM#15891612 which is used in the bed of the truck for the tie downs. I had to stretch out the two catches on each side of the plug and bend it to get it onto the frame hole. It took a little while to put one on each side but I feel it is worth it. I guess I just had a lot of time on my hands and needed a challenge.

I installed the frame plugs (rear wheel housing) which came in today. It took only a few seconds. I also went a step further and took two of the (plastic) plugs I removed from my truck bed (installed the tie down rings) and installed it in the middle hole (same size as the truck bed) to give it a very clean look. There are no holes visible in the wheel housing. I had to stretch out the end catches on the plastic plug to get it over the thicker metal in the rear wheel housing. The rear wheel housing looks good without any holes and completes it nicely. Cheap update. Thanks mcnwil (page 65) for this update. I always disliked these open holes.

How do you recalibrate your speed meter? Just wondering if it is a lot of work?

I find their shipping cost is very high. I was looking at a part that cost $5.70 (13500936 - very small part and could go through normal mailing at regular stamp price), CheapestGMParts.com would sell it for $3.86 but the shipping was $13.91 bring the total to $17.77. CT dealers even if they charge me the full price at $5.70 plus CT tax would comes to only $6.06. Their shipping cost cuts into the savings. Maybe on higher price items there is some savings but I could do better at local Chevy dealers with their discounts. If you buy the item at a Chevy garage and have them do the labor - Chevy will warranty the item for three years or 36,000 miles.

Nice stuff. Where did you locate the after market trailer brake in the cab? Do you have any photos? I like to add one and want to make sure it is in an area not in my way but easy to use.
