  1. Whiteautoandmedia.com You can buy the hmi and radio modules from them then it's just plug and play. You'll have to get your gauge cluster programed for the steering wheel controls to work. Or buy the Denali cluster. I did this on my 2014 sierra with the Bose.
  2. If you are working on the same thing as OP it will plug right in and work power wise as long as you had a power driver seat to begin with.
  3. what year is it? Also check on the driver's side of the transmission and make sure the cable didn't pop off for the shifter.
  4. Ok, please take pictures.
  5. Do you have any build pictures of this project? I'm wanting to do the same thing with my 71 gmc.
  6. You might try contacting corporate if you're dealer won't help. Not sure they will since you're out of warranty in year wise.
  7. The shift lever might have a few zig zags in it to come out in the right place.
  8. Harnessdr.com, yes you can order this stuff and many other wiring mods harnesses.
  9. I'm getting it out of the ground as fast as I can. Prices will probably drop after the election. Unless you're in California then may God help you.
  10. My 13 Sierra pulled some like that there was a couple wires that pulled out of the bulkhead in the firewall.
  11. Just get the works from a salvage yard $75-$150 swap out your hvac controls and pop it it in the dash good to go.
  12. No I didn't make a topic on it. It's a project that is slower then a cat with rigor mortis. I'm working on installing a ipad in place of the radio in the dash because I'm not a fan of the tesla style radios. I also don't like the idea of having to remove the ipad to change settings on the radio screen. My plan is to have the radio in the center console, and I will use it to display the music information and use the full screen of the ipad for navigation. Thus far I have completed the radio relocation pieces for both my 14 and 18 Sierra's and will start working on the Ipad dash pieces soon. hhere it is in the truck. This is the one I did for the 14.
  13. Finished painting the radio piece. It's ready for install.
  14. If you're not going to delete the AFM, the best advice is hold on and hope for the best. My truck has 279,000 and still going with the AFM just turned off. At that mileage though I'm just going to engine swap if and when they do fail.
  15. Finished intake cover and made progress on the radio relocation piece.
  16. Different grille different upper bumper pieces. (2500 is a 2 piece) swap out the bumper brackets. Technically the hood is different but it's a tiny amount just in the shape of it around the grille. People put the 2500 hood on 1500's all the time.
  17. I had 2 of them. 3rd one was in the truck when I bought it. So I guess I can't count the 1st one. But after running the 2 I got I'm going to guess it was not in the truck long before I bought it.
  18. I think it was worth it. Pedal is a good firm Pedal. It was squishy before I believe because the brake fluid needed changed. I also deleted the vacuum pump so applied pressure might require a little more push. It does stop on a dime and gives you 9 cents change. Also while it was out of service I ordered a custom thermostat housing that uses a ls3 style thermostat for the truck. I installed a gates 187° stat turns out everyone was wrong I don't need head gaskets. The 3 motorad thermostats I used were all junk and not opening. Truck runs at 186°, it got up to 188° when I run it up to 100 mph for a few miles. (The highway was empty so only I was in the danger zone) so now I have new heads, gaskets and rockers and lifters I don't need and can't return.
  19. I ment that it has 4 bulbs. The gmc has 2 total. I would think gm would make these changes in the headlight assembly and not on the harness, so as to keep cost down but I don't know for sure because all I own is gmc.
  20. The Screaming Banshee is back in the wild. It stops on a dime and gives you 9 cents change.
  21. I believe the chevy has 4 separate headlights the gmc is 1 per side with high and low in the same bulb. The wiring might be different. Hopefully just on the headlight side. You definitely need the sierra fenders.
  22. Ok so the brakes are done. I had a issues with a couple of the brake calipers that I put on passenger front leaking. I managed to piece a non leaking 1 together out of the 2 I tried on the front passenger side. In Summation I recommend getting 2019+ wheels when doing the upgrade if you're current wheels don't clear. That would save the hassle of grinding off the hump everytime you need to swap out the calipers. Once I finish swapping out the trans pan and shaking out the restriction in my exhaust, I will post results of how it stops. It should be 100% better the old brake fluid was practically water according to the tester. Picture of restriction free pipe.
  23. Yes I'll be driving it before the head gaskets. We have to go back to Colorado for my Father-in-laws funeral so I'll be dropping the truck off at a friend's repair shop 3 hrs from here. To do the gaskets while we're gone. My plan is to get a take out engine from a place in Michigan that sells them with less then 10 miles on them. So pretty much new.
  24. If you can't get the bumper cap off and back on exactly how it came off you should not be working on your own vehicle. I've had my bumper cap off a handful of times already and it goes right back on as it should.
