  1. Hmmm, I'm not sure how that big of a part would ship?
  2. Long shot here, If anyone in the northern California region has a stock muffler/resonator you want to get rid of, I am looking for one.
  3. Without checking costs, I'm guessing shipping would be more than its worth.
  4. I want to trade my Borla exhaust for stock. The system is two years old and started life as a twin exit S-Type system. About six or eight months ago, I swapped the S-Type muffler for a series 50 Flowmaster. I don't have the S-Type muffler any longer. Any one that lives in the Northern California area with a stock cat-back system that wants to trade, let me know. My truck is a 2014 Crew Cab short bed, the exhaust will fit both this model and an extended cab standard bed. (6'6" bed)
  5. I have the Rough Country UCA's with a 2.5" level. they are a great upgrade, I've had no issues with them and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.
  6. For the trouble, the 5.3 t-body flows pretty well. I went with a Diablew custom tune which really made the drivetrain feel the way it should have from the factory. I also have the GM performance intake and Borla... the tune brought it all together.
  7. I'm running 285/70/17 Cooper ST Maxx. The Eibach kit gave me about 2.5" of front lift and I didn't add anything to the rear. Truck sits nice and level, the tires clear with no issue. no trimming was needed.
  8. I paid just under 2k for front and rear 4.10's. Single biggest improvement I've made to the truck. Although I'm in Northern CA, if that makes a difference.
  9. I installed Eibach's Pro Truck kit last October with 75k miles; while not the 2.0 kit, they were a huge improvement over the stock worn out shocks and coils. I also added Rough Country's upper control arms; I strongly recommend them if you are raising the front. The arms, in addition to being heavier, are designed to prevent the control arm topping out on the frame. I have long been a fan of Eibach suspension, they have been a leader in the field for a long time.

  11. They're actually both. One vent draws air in, the other exhausts.
  12. I agree with you Redwngr, the current LML DMax is an awesome engine, and it makes shirtloads of power. The new HD with the power package is a fantastic tow machine. However, my comparison was to my 2005 HD and it's LLY DMax. Don't get me wrong, the LLY was a great engine and the Allison was bulletproof. I was simply posting a comparison of numbers, mostly to demonstrate the advances GM has made in the engine design.
  13. Well, Like I said, Bose is the best upgrade for the price. I've done competition audio in my past and spent a lot of money on upgraded audio in both my past trucks and two boats. For what Bose added in cost, It's a fantastic sounding system. Like any audio system, you have to know the limits and stay within them. My dealer is very good. I didn't say I could take it in and get anything fixed... I said I would have it addressed. Sometimes the truth is not what you want. Aside from that, I have had no reason to take my new truck in yet. I am sorry that you feel bitter about you truck, but in your case, moving to a different brand is the best decision. Find a product that will meet your expectation. I am brand loyal, so my expectations are met, perhaps with bias, by Chevrolet. I wish you luck.
  14. Well, I'm just quoting numbers... 355 horsepower versus the Duramax's 310. The DMax did make more torque, If memory serves me, the DMax made 520 lbs/ft? to the 5.3's 385lbs/ft. I haven't towed anything of substance with my 15 yet, So perhaps I should withhold my judgment. But... this little 5.3 is a real powerhouse relative to its size. and it's quiet!
