  1. I just got my 2021 Chevrolet 2500 4 days ago. I noticed it slightly pulling to the right. At first I thought it was me or the crown of the road "pushing" it to the right but, on a flat road or if I move to the other side of the road it still pulls to the right. I'm going to take it in in the next day or two to get it checked/re-aligned.
  2. I got a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 Duramax yesterday. So far my only complaint is that they removed the adjustable pedals. GM gives us AC/Heat in the rear seats again but takes away adjustable pedals.
  3. How do you like the Amp steps? I ordered a 21 Chevrolet with the automatic assist steps and I believe they're made by Amp. Any issues with them or do you regret getting them?
  4. It's the same scenario in central North Carolina. There are 2 Chevrolet and 2 GMC dealers within 15 miles of my house. Both GMC dealers had 1 2500 and 1 3500 and the Chevrolet dealers had 1 2500 on their lots. It's crazy. I asked about having one built and he told me it could take 12-15 weeks.
  5. I have a vibration issue but I'm not sure it's the same as A lot of people on this thread have. First I will list my specs and then my problem. Truck: 2016 GMC SLT Crewcab 4x4 Motor and Trans: 6.2L w/8 speed, Max Trailering with the 3.42 rear gear Modifications: Rough Country 2" front leveling, 3" rear block, 275/65 20 BFG TKO's on stock rims My Issue: I have a vibration that starts at around 51mph and then peaks at 54-55mph and stops around 59mph. Here is where I think my vibration might be different than a lot of other people in this thread. Mine seems to get worse when applying light throttle and it gets better when I coast or put the truck int neutral while I'm in the speed range of the vibration. I have had my tires balanced 4 times and the last 2 were road force balanced. Given the fact that my vibration can be altered by throttle/acceleration I'm beginning to believe that my issue might be my torque converter. Has anyone had an issue similar to what I am experiencing? Also, are there common variables for trucks with vibration issues? Are they all 5.3's or 6.2's or both or do they all have 6 speed or 8 speed transmissions or some other group of common factors?
  6. I finally got some new tires and was able to get rid of the crappy factory tires. I have a 2" Rough Country leveling kit on the front and a 3" block on the rear (which only raises the rear 1" since it comes with a 2" block from the factory). I ended up going with the BFG All Terrain KO's. I have had a lot of luck with these tires. They are 275/65 20's. I think it really made the truck look better. The pictures are a little dark. I should have taken them in better light.
  7. I'm having the same issue and it's definitely coming from the front end and not the rear. Mine pops randomly and I haven't been able to reproduce it on demand. I don't want to take it to the dealership only to have them not hear it and send me on my way. I heard it 2 times this morning. Once I was at a gas pump and it popped when I pulled away from the pump turning left. The other time it was at a stop sign and I was turning left again. Yesterday, it did something that I've never heard before. I missed a turn and had to make a U-turn. When I went full lock to the left, it popped about 8-10 times. I've tried to reproduce that too with no luck. While typing this and trying to figure out common elements when it happens and I just realized something. Each time it has happened, over the last two days, I have been on a slight downhill incline and I've turned left. I'll have to try that again and see if I can make it happen when I want.
  8. Has anyone tried the Chevy Performance Air Intake? Here is the site. http://www.chevrolet.com/performance/silverado-parts.html Here is what they claim. P/N 84016022 (Performance Air Intake—2014-2016 Silverado 1500, Tahoe, and Suburban with 5.3L V8) / MSRP: $550† Upgrade the performance and look of your truck with the Chevrolet Performance air intake. This system reduces air intake restriction by up to 15% and looks great under the hood. It’s available for 5.3L applications. Rigorously tested to GM standards for durability, corrosion, and performance.
  9. From what I've read on the HP Tuner forums, TM should basically be left alone. The general consensuses is that you can mess with shift speeds/RPMs and shift pressures (pressures to a lesser degree) and still keep your transmission from breaking.
  10. Thanks. You're correct regarding the difference when towing. I felt like the nose was up too high when I pull anything with some weight to it. I don't know that a 2" block versus the stock 1" block will matter much but, I can't hurt. I believe that the front is a 2" leveling kit. It is Rough Country. I made a animated gif of the 3 images. That might make it easier to tell the differences.
  11. I had a leveling kit installed and I felt like the front looked a little too high so I put a 2" block on the rear. Here is stock, leveled and 2" block added to the rear. Stock Leveled 2" Blocks on Rear I made an animated gif of the 3 images to try to make the differences more noticeable.

  13. Did you ever get the rear blocks in? If so, do you have some picks? I'm trying to decide if I want the rear blocks on my truck.
  14. I chose the spacer because it was cheaper. That's all it was. I don't mind how my truck rides so I wasn't worried about changing the shocks.
  15. I finally got my truck leveled. It's a Rough Country 2" kit. Before After
  16. I like BBSierra84's truck height and stance. This is the ride height I'm looking for. In my opinion, this is the perfect stance and height for these trucks.
  17. I wish I would have picked these rims
  18. I don't care for chrome either. When I get my truck early next year I'm going to try to get one with less chrome.
