    It obviously means something because you won’t ever find a 4.3 in a Denali, or a 6.2 in a WT.

    Na I wasn’t running that size, I messed up on that. I always kept stock diameter because I didn’t want to recalibrate. I was running 285/55 at the end. Yea it’s a bit wider but I don’t think it should have made that much of a difference.

    I agree. I have driven both the 4.3 and 5.3 as my daily drivers. Both with the 6 speed. The 4.3 for 4 years and the 5.3 for a year now. They are night and day obviously. Shifting in the 4.3 was sad, it was always looking for gears. Going up a hill it would shift down sometimes 2 gears unloaded. The 5.3 isn’t even phased on the same roads. I get much better highway with the 5.3, but city isn’t as good as with the 4.3. I guess that’s why it’s typically used for fleet trucks.

    I’m also wondering this. I contacted an eBay seller and he said they are 18 1/2" long and 3 1/4" wide. I’m haven’t measured the emblem on the K2s. But if they are relatively the same size with different clips you could easily make it work.

    They started putting the new 10 speed in the later Tahoe’s, Escalades and Suburbans. Wonder if that would be better than the 8 speed?

    I have also thought about this. This would be so much more useful. My brother has an 18 F150 and his truck has the usb plugs in the back and they are much more convenient. Since it would just need power and not data lines, it seems like this would be an easy thing to do, but I haven’t seen the connections on the back of each of them. Phil?

    You can’t mess up. Like he said, plug and play. I did all the work.. but I took the whole front off to make sure everything was nice and clean for the wiring and not just shoved where it would fit.

    Yes, my 2015 was a WT so it didn’t have anything. I bought the lights and the harness and it all worked.

    I used them for fog lights on my 2015. Great guys to work with. I had 1 problem with my harness.. I think the connectors rusted out because of the body shop that replaced my bumper messed them up, but he sent me a replacement. I had no issues after that. Definitely would order from them again.

    I found this the other day as well! I will eventually take it in, but right now I don’t want to deal with them [emoji23]. Oh.. mine is a 2018 though.. didn’t realize I was in the 19-20 section.

    Lol good for you.. mine is architecture and structural engineering not audio. You should be able to defend without attacking if you have been in the field for so long.. but I do know how to spell bass.. I’m not sure why you are feeling so attacked that you have to go after autocorrect on my iPhone.. [emoji23]

    He shouldn’t be trying to turn the bass down and expecting it to drop in the door speakers though.. also without mid his system will sound like an Alexa paired with a sub.. look up YouTube videos.. it’s not great

    The front doors are mid and not bass with the Bose.. you might have cut out all of that..

    The camera options also are available from EchoMaster and sold by GMC/Chevy dealerships. It’s just a module that you plug in behind the radio screen. You don’t need the 3.0 to do it.

    You can disable it. Just hold down the cruise button for like 3 seconds after setting it and it turns off the adaptive. It should tell you on the DIC how to do it.

    I’m interested in seeing where this goes. My mom just got a Blazer RS and I really like the new interface. Also the HD screen, wonder if that’s possible in an upgrade? It’s cool to see that the K2s won’t have an obsolete radio in 5 years and that it’s possible to upgrade to the newer UI.

    The Chevy app (myChevrolet) should allow you to remotely unlock, lock and start. I use the GMC app and they are the same from what I saw in the App Store.
