  1. I am interested in this part as well the previous post mentions. I have a 16 Denali I do haul a 6k trailer on occasion but have very little drop in rear when towing. Curious how all think it would or would not affect towing as well. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

  4. Muffler delete

    I did the same with my set up 6.2 L with a 12909 Magnaflow 3.5". Remove OEM muffler, resonator and flapper valve... I have not looked back... At first I did the muffler delete with resonator in place and it was too loud for the neighborhood along with v4 mode drone. Now v4 is not a big deal as I notice it about like stock.   5. leave flapper valve or not

    My noise cancelling is off due to my subwoofer install. So that is not it for me. I have ridden around with out the system on as well to hear the sound. It produces the noise, to me, that it should for a 6.2L. You can tell when it is in v4 slightly but for me it is not much different than it sounded stock with light throttle and more aggressive with throttle near & over 2k rpm.     I removed oem muffler, resonator, and valve and replaced with a 12909 Magnaflow on my 6.2L. Been super happy with sound and don't notice the annoying sounds described by others. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  7. Jerry , I don't know quite what to tell you. With my wdh in place my back end drops about 1/2 inch max but mine is a Husky brand and does not have the chain design. Do you know if the previous owner had a lift or anything that adjusted the the magneride shocks sensor location? I know if it was adjusted due to lift and you added the weight of the trailer I have to imagine something would be acting very poorly. I am not quite sure how to check if the sensor is in stock location or how much the changed, if it is moved, it would be affecting you with/without a load. Just shooting out ideas. I have seen some complaining about the magnerides prematurely failing. If you have that situation in early stages it could be much pronounced with a RV load. Best of luck in figuring it out.   8. I have a 16 Denali 6.2L with MRC in a CCSB 4X4..i haul a 7k trailer and don't have any issues with it riding rough. Do you have a WDH with stabilizer (weight distribution hitch) and is the trailer riding level when hooked up? I do have a WDH and it does make a big difference in how it helps control the trailer. Have you taken your truck to a weigh station to see how balanced your load is? From what I read the Denali loses some of its carry capacity versus other models due to extra weight for all the different add-ons as well. It could be your pushing the limits more? Other than the items noted above I am not sure why switching has caused you the issues if the trailer is the only item to change but these are some of the items I would check out.     Been running for almost 2 years the jl 13tw5, 0.8 cubic feet, (sealed Enclosure), JL HD 500 , Lc2i digital converter with my stock bose system. I think it sounds great...   10. Any one found out if a 2019 wireless charger is 1. Fits in a 2014-2018 model or can be modified too easily fit? I have Phil's pigtail installed to upgrade my 16 to 18 wireless charger already... Works great but always want a faster charger. 2. Is the 2019 version a quick charge wireless vs a 2018 model.   11. Adding a Powered Subwoofer

    I did not lose any of my other items/functions (been running 2 years now) ... To be honest I did not notice a louder sound in cab with or without the stereo for me.. I should note I do have CAI and Magna flow Muffler (removed stock muffler, flapper) so I have a little more engine and exhaust noise purposefully. When cruising 70 mph though I am super quiet.   12. Adding a subwoofer to Bose

    None at all... I cut the wire (purple and blue? -crankshaft replicating wire) that sends signal to the bose AMP that tells it to engage the noise cancelling.   13. Injector failure #5

    My injectors were 1, 2, 6 & 7...but changed all... Also changed associated fuel pipes and gaskets. Had to change oil as well due to high possibility of fuel contaminating the oil. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  14. Injector failure #5

    I had 4 injectors on my 16 - 6.2L Sierra Denali go out about 1 1/2 months ago. Replaced all 8 just due to nervousness that the other injectors would domino effect from some items I had read. I don't have time to sit in the dealership. They will ask you about using 93 octane top tier fuel (which I have since it had 3 miles on it) truck had 37k mileage and injectors are not covered by power train warranty. I will say this my gas mileage has improved by 1.5 mpg on several road trips. Not sure if it is just timing or what but I am at least happy to see that out of fiasco...   15. Fuel Injectors ?

    My previous 2008 SD with a 6.2L was bought by my brother has 180,000 miles and zero injector issues as well. I know it is a GDI engine but come on 37k. It concerns me that mid body style GM changed the major warranty items from 100k to 60k....I thought about it before purchasing but now I am really trying to understand. Did they know after two years of running the new engine design and other items going into 2016 they needed to alter the warranty? My 1995 Pontiac Grand Prix (0 fuel injectors), 1997 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP (0 fuel injectors), 1998 Vette (0 fuel injectors), 2000 Silverado (0 fuel injectors), 2008 GMC Sierra Denali (0 fuel injectors), 2016 GMC Sierra Denali (4 fuel injectors, 8 replaced). I know stuff happens and this could be a fluke but a good number of people have been noting this issue and so did the dealership since I was the 3rd vehicle in the last week to come in with P050D.
