  3. What have you done to your K2 today?

L150, Where did you get the bumper?..... I got rear ended recently and was looking for an option or two other than stock before taking it in. Looks nice and clean. Thanks. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  4. Wondering if anyone has found a way to wire or diode through the BCM or other method to make folding mirrors truly automatic on start up or turn off with key ignition (or similar)? Yes I know I can currently hit the remote fob button twice or hit the door folding button. I park in a tight place daily and just wish it had that capability. I have accidentally left them unclosed a couple of times. Thanks for any helpful information. P.S..I also know this can wear the plastic gears out more quickly. I have purchased a set metal gears already to change them out when and if needed. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  5. I just did 2 inch drop shackles on my 16 Denali. I used the Maxtrac shackles and found a shorter rod hoping to not need the trim level relearn but it still rode just a little too bouncy. After I had the trim level relearn performed the tight riding suspension was back. Good luck... Dealer charged my $75... I read about some delalers charging as low as $45 as well. 6. Did the 2.5" drop to get closer to level small rake but like how tires and wheels fit the fenders... Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  7. JL Audio 13tw5 using a Subthump box made for the the passenger side under back seat area. JL Audio 500 watt amp, LC2i with bass knob added to my Bose stereo and it really makes it sound very good and full. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  8. 2014+ Lowering / Drop Kits

Finally had the back end dropped 2+ inches used maxtrac drop shackles/shock extenders and a way to adjust Magneride sensor rods without needing a trim level relearn. Rides as good or better than it did stock. Much smoother than original ride on the 22s if being honest. Left about a 1" rake and is working well with my trailers to be near level with them on Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  9. Cool idea. Thanks for the link I will check it out. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  10. I was traveling with a storage trailer yesterday and hit a large bump on the Interstate that caused it to come off the ball. Scary but luckily I was able to get it to the service road with the chains and thankfully all were safe. Person where I came to rest said I was the 4th person in 2 weeks to hit that spot and lose a trailer. Called responsible state maintenance department today to report. Yes, I have insurance but was curious what I should expect for bids to replace and paint for an estimate? Damage appears to be a series of dents across the metal part of the bumper (see pic - not to bad for what happened) Paint color is white tri-frost. I only believe the metal part of bumper has dents and no other damage. It is a 2016 Sierra Denali with painted bumpers. Thanks. I know it won't be inexpensive just curious on what your experiences tells you the cost should run. Thanks. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  11. I feel so bad for your prospectus on life in general. You should invest in Kleenex as I will certainly fund the use as I wipe my tears from laughing so much at your comments in this thread. You will seemingly always be looking at the glass half empty. I wish you the best of luck in being happy as you are going to need it. You are wrong about high cost not equalling a better product. We will agree to disagree. There are many cases where higher cost such as guns, photography equipment, tickets to sporting events, just to name a few are better the more you pay (some are mechanical and some aren't). My expectations were higher that some of these items on my truck and as they do on other more expensive items would last longer (not forever). My frustrations are stemming from the previous issues adding up to the next major failure to have to deal with as I stated we're disappointing. I reached out to GM for assistance to to this escalation. Unfortunately my vehicle most likely won't get any better at having less breakdowns as it ages. So my point was that I get to look forward to a higher rate of major issues and the vehicle is not even that old. It appears this investment was not as good as others. 12. Skippy, You have every right to your opinions. I can confirm truthfully that I have not done any off roading to cause premature wear. I use a separate vehicle for campouts or hunting excursions with regular shocks. I am not going to go back and forth on who has driven more or less as the point is moot. The type of driving I have done in this vehicle should not have the struts failing regardless whether they are Mageride or normal type shocks. Especially after reading all the failures Mageride systems seem to have had. I am happy you learned a lesson on the Magneride struts early on and wish I had learned about it earlier as well for this truck. I think based on the majority of the comments noted that many have had or are having similar experiences of some type in general with their vehicles and they are tired of many of these earlier than expected system failures and shrinking warranties. I mainly was putting out some frustrations to get them out of my system and don't think this would have been as big of a negative response in your direction had you not turned a difficult situation for me into an unnecessary and unhelpful set of comments with which apparently most on the forum disagreed with your choices of words. I wish you the best with your future vehicles and driving on better than Magneride shocks. Lastly regardless that many would disagree with me doing this, I apologize for my response to your initial comments. Scoutmaster out! Do onto others as you would have them do unto you! 13. Wow, wonderful outcome but sadly I know some of what you have gone through to receive that outcome. Best of luck and I truly hope you don't have to use that bumper to bumper going forward. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  14. Sadly I agree with you guys. We will need to wait until 2022 to buy a 2019 Model at a reduced cost and upgrade all the major systems with high quality parts to create a more reliable model. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  15. You know what, you are correct and I apologize for using that language. I had just spent that money and it was hurting to have that along with his rude, unnecessary and small minded comment. I let it get too me and I shouldn't have. Again that was not the example that I should have put forward. Thank you! Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
