    It's not pretty I can tell you that. I looked at the NorCal for reference but my Sierra is different. There's about two layers of sheet metal in the wheel liner that caused issues for me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Thanks [emoji120]. Tires are 285/70R17 bfgoodrich allterrain. The wheels are method race wheels 17x8.5 0mm offset. Don't like talking about all the trimming that had to be done. I get emotional thinking about it. Angle grinder in one hand and the other wiping tears away. Research the NorCal mod if you want to learn more about how much works needs to be done.     Exactly what had happened to me at my local tire shop. They used an impact wrench causing damage to two method race wheels which had to be replaced. [emoji19] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Really? Should I torque by increments for example start around 50 ft lb eventually hitting 140 to avoid any deformation? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    So I know factory torque spec is 140 ft lbs for the steel rims. 140 for aluminum is awfully high IMO or I just might be wrong. I've done some research but always get varied answers. Anybody have a clue on what torque is need so my wheels don't fly off? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
