I have the denali....it's nothing more than a name and mrc. Coming from a tahoe, I really don't notice the suspension being that much better, but it's there. It operates like a suspension. I think I've said it before, I bought it because I've always wanted a black on black denali. Since they first came out. I just so happened to be in a position to purchase one at a decent price when I was in the market for a new vehicle. I think the SLT decked out is just as nice. Hell, the lower trim trucks are leaps and bounds nicer than my first truck...I'm sure most of us are driving a truck that is nicer than our first truck regardless of the trim levels.

Not trying to be an ass...but if you're scoffing at a high payment just because it takes all of your extra money...you may never pay off the debt. Tighten the belt, get rid of anything extra...eating out, cable, quit driving, ride a bike or walk, take the bus...if you have an extra nickel, send it to them. Otherwise, taking a lower payment because it's easier...well, get used to being in debt. Paying off high interst debt is difficult. Get used to the BARE MINIMUM for yourself.

I'm sure you will get a bunch of good advice, and some not so good...here's mine, take is as you will...call them. Ask if they would be willing to take a cash settlement to close the account. Explain that you cannot afford to pay them otherwise. May or may not have any luck. Otherwise, start with the smallest balance and pay as much as possible towards that until it is paid. Close the account. Move to the next. Continue to make minimum payments on the others. Whatever you decide, best of luck to you. Debt sucks. I know things in life happen, but try to pay cash for everything and avoid plastic.

Glad you got that issue worked out. I wonder if the dealer would perform this repair to a truck that has not yet leaked? Kinda thinking of letting them fix mine before I get a bucket of water inside. Also...what is the dealer fix? Do they just caulk the antenna?

Turn key on and plug a battery tender to the truck. Would that work okay?

That does look amazing. I love all the chrome with the silver truck. Just looks amazing. Would be cool if this was an option from the factory on 1/2 tons.

Forget camping....cancel the wifi at the house. Pretty cheap deal. I just swapped to the unlimited att plan, I've burned through way more than 22gb (they claim to throttle after 22gb) in the past 4-5 days, still able to stream videos. I haven't noticed it getting throttled.

I second checking the contact points on the switches. Seems odd that both would stop at the same time, but I've had that happen before. Super easy and quick fix if that's the case.

Remember the c5 corvettes did this. The security system would lock up the steering wheel when broken in to. Some of them malfunctioned, the steering would lock up while driving...in a corvette. Mine locked up a few times, pretty darn scary when driving down the road and steering locks up.

They gave me the same line of "We're working on upgrading some of our equipment to provide you with a better experience...". Ehh. Bottom line, it's really not up to par.

This is one of those things that most don't care much about...what could go wrong?? I had a tire pass me up on the interstate once. Jackass at one of these chain tire places tightened up the lugs too tight. Fun experience. Was towing a trailer with my motorcycle. Broke all the lugs. Happened in some back woodsy place, had a tow truck driver arrive with a busted eye from a bar fight. He wasn't even the guy I called. He was angry when I refused to let his drunken ass tow my motorcycle to his house...lesson learned.

Is the Kicker for the Bose system plug and play like the non-Bose? Has anyone tried out one of the other brands floating around out there? I saw one that supposedly fits inside the center console?

My '16....replaced an '09 tahoe that flooded back in August. Sucked at the time, but the new one is pretty nice and fancy.

I recently read an article about the 8 and 10 speed transmissions across ALL manufacturers....not good. Apparently they are all having issues with the added gears. Not just a GM issue. Foreign and domestic brands. I'll try to dig it back up and post a link. But...just a little food for thought, although it sucks to have issues, the other sides of the fence, in every direction, are having the same problems.

My Sierra does that same thing. Sucks. My old tahoe never missed a beat. Guess xm won't get any of my cash.

I'm 5'10" or so, 160lbs...I love the seats in my '16. Had an '01 bench, '06, then '09 both with buckets...seats have gotten better with each one I think. Bench to buckets was a huge jump (improvement to me).

Guess I'll be the cheap guy guinnea pig. I bought a Tyger brand cheapo from amazon. $189 shipped to my door. 15 minutes later, had a low profile cover that's fairly waterproof. A small puddle the size of a sand dollar in one corner after the pressurized carwash. Even came with a magnetic light and 10 year warranty.

My first vehicle with factory nav...after the moron salesman deleted the address I sent to the truck from the phone, I couldn't force it to accept the address by typing it in. Granted, I haven't sat down and read any manuals to figure it out, but seems like more hassle than I'll ever bother with again. ...I go to work, home, and fishing. I know where my house is, I know where to go to earn money to pay for said house, and I'll be damned if I tell GM where I go fishing.

Just got my '16 a few days ago, haven't even found the screen to check the trans temp yet. I'll be towing a 4-5,000lb boat around soon and am definitely interested in keeping the trans temp down. 210 sounds a bit high...but, then again, I'm not a GM engineer.. ...what's the mod Dad?

I like how those rear vents don't even come close to matching. If I had the option of rear vents, but they looked like those....I'd say NO!!!
