Sorry nobody has replied to you yet. Sadly, most of our self appointed "experts" are over in the "troubleshooting" forum, helping nobody.
Nothing is impossible to add to the truck. But costly. These kinds of mods are things the dealership tends not to want to undertake.
First off, I don't know if the clockspring in your steering column will have the wires for the volume control on the steering wheel. If it does, that's good. Without a wire diagram or an upfitters manual you would have to look at your wire harness vs. a truck that has the volume controls.
IF the wires were present, you may also need to know if your radio supports that function. If it is the same radio that is in some higher trims with steering wheel volume controls...then you will be good there. That is easy to figure out from the RPO codes on your truck.
At that point if your wire harness is compatible and the radio is...and you install the volume controls and it still doesn't work you may need some BCM programming to help you along.
