  1. @bryknicksSo I spent 30 mins this morning working on this and I agree with @kmeleon and there is an exact fine line on setting input gain to the front speakers in order to add some gain WITHOUT creating a deafening door chime and OH, LOUD turn signal . The alpine amp for my door speakers said from the factory to set the gain right in the middle but that blasted the door chime and turn signal. I turned them up only about 3 notches and that gave me the right amount of power to the speakers and keeping the chime and turn signal much closer to factory sound. Hope this helps.
  2. My problem is, if I turn the gain down too much, I basically have zero volume on my front speakers so I'm still at a loss with an extremely loud door chime and turn signal noise!
  3. Is this the Denali cluster? What setting is that, lol, I have the WAMS programmed Denali cluster and I don't recall seeing this menu.
  4. @weatherman3 I'd go with Cognito or Rough Country control arms for your 2-3" level lift.
  5. @Ovie832 The hood is different, the wiring harness for the headlights are different, and there is a plastic sub-frame that is different that you attach the grill too. You will need part number 2 and number 5 from a 2015: If you get it from a salvage yard, they're usually connected together. Oh, you'll also need the fog light connectors. Here's the link to the original post that will give you great details, only you'll follow them in reverse. https://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/189473-2015-silverado-to-2016-conversion/
  6. It's not a dumb question to me; it's all personal preference. It is possible, you would literally follow the order of operation in reverse. The only issue that you may run into would be the headlights. I'd reach out to @pgamboa to see if he can make a harness for the headlights in the reverse direction.
  7. Do you have any pictures? I'm interested. Thanks, Daniel
  8. Can't wait my man! Thank you...its long overdue on my truck since I installed the new bumpers with sensors a year ago lol.
  9. I was able to almost break even for my swap out. I was able to sell all of my old parts for about the same cost is what I bought the new ones for. It took me almost a year to find and buy the new parts for the upgrade at the cost I was willing to pay. When I say new, I mean the 2016 version. Out-of-pocket I think I was $800 and that was for painting my front and rear bumper to match. In regards to doing the reverse conversion, I believe it would work just the same way but my initial thought and only concern would be how to retrofit a plug-and-play wiring harness to go from the 2016 LED headlights to the downgraded halogen headlights. But that is probably a gen5diy question or a PGamboa.
  10. Thanks for the quick response. I'm going to have to read your thread all over again. I already have both bumpers, sensors, and bumper wiring harnesses, just need to see what all other modules and wires you purchased
  11. So do I understand that you have front and rear sensors working now?
  12. This is the exact thread I've been waiting for. Excellent writeup! I have a 2014 that I did a front and rear facelift to the 2016. I had Zero park assist (no front, no rear) so I'm looking forward to your final results. Thank you sir!
  13. The list is in this thread. If you have trouble after reading this thread, shoot me a PM.
  14. Very nice dude! I have the articulating ones on my double cab but prefer the ones you have. Do you happen to know if the wiring harness is the same?
  15. Nice, and thank you! Yeah, I was looking at a 15 Sierra and said if I were to buy it, I would do the same thing. You made a wise choice my friend lol.
  16. Boom, done! Here's before, during, and after.
  17. Are you referring to the fuse box under the hood to land the wires to? If so, here is the one I purchased: 84075773.
  18. What's different about the Denali / HC door panels other than Bose speaker cover and memory seat buttons?
  19. You have to buy the wiring harness from PGamboa. I also ordered a new fuse box for under the hood, and ordered a new switch panel for the center console. I can do it myself as I've added the folding tow mirrors, but PGamboa lives near me and he's offered his services for a fee.
  20. I bought mine locally in Dallas from one of the users on here. His name is Alex and he can get more. I dont recommend buying from the dealer because they're really expensive, but yes, they do sell them. Yes, they do articulate!
  21. Thanks man; the funny thing is that about a year ago, I purchased the RED Denali cluster prior to the announcement that Chris was able to retrofit the new blue ones into our older trucks. I sat on the RED cluster and procrastinated so long that he was able to figure out how to do the Blue cluster lol so I sold the red one and bought the blue for the same cost. I love this mod too!
