  1. +1 for fishing line then use a 3M eraser wheel to pull off adhesive. Then use spray 3M adhesive remove to finish off little bits stuck on.
  2. I've been having the same issue, but when i've taken it in they were unable to duplicate it. I understand its difficult for them to fix the problem if they can not duplicate it, but it leaves a very frustrated client. The issues i've had, and am having more frequently now, is the TMPS light flashing, display reads some type of TMPS issue, and I lose signal to one or both of the rear tires. I also intermittently have issues with the keyfob not working unless i've within arms length of the truck. There seems to be no rhyme or reason when this occurs.
  3. I'm guessing your truck is on some unlevel ground here? As for the bird decal, go for it. If you dont like it, tell your buddy it looks stupid and take it off.. or put it on the roof lol
  4. Dirtkings, Bajakits and a few others use the Uniball which has potentially more upkeep but solid. ICON delta joints are nice because theyre sealed and require less maintenance.
  5. Anyone else curious about what a 5" lift on 33" tires is going to look like? ?
  6. Got to remember this is a brand new Engine. 1 day and 56 views with no comments is pretty normal. Not a whole lot of people with it and not a whole lot of information out there on it. It appears the duramax also has "Active Thermal Management" which is a valve that distributes hot coolant to parts of the engine that need to warm up. I Wonder if this is some kind of disconnect between your iDash and what the truck really thinks the temperature is. Youre not showing anything on the dash? Does the display show anything about engine temps or oil temps?
  7. Not the best but Not so bad as long as they're torqued right and not huge spacers. Also make sure your studs are long enough to get enough threads on the lugs nuts.
  8. I wouldnt normally agree but he seems oddly upset about this. I don't like the fact that my range is less than ideal but I wouldn't go this far with it.
  9. Personal preference. Like said above, some lifts will add width to front and not rear due to being independent front suspension. So you'll front tires will stick out further than your rear tires. It bugs the hell out of me when i see this on the road so i would definitely add spacers if it were me.
  10. Just for the fact that you said Pinterest in this post i'm going with a ? JK, but in all seriousness i've seen much worse. Looks like they were going for the Tonka Truck/Matchbox car look. At least i hope so.
  11. Just ordered the Minipack. Going to run it with King 2.5's. I'll try and update once i get it on. Going to add Airbags to it for towing or hauling as well. They arent supposed to interfere with anything while at low psi.
  12. I would assume shorten the life of electronics is speaking about any relays it causes to click on and off over and over.
  13. Got it. No worries. I’m probably going to have them build a 0-1” set of 182’s. Once I get time I have to measure everything.
  14. Thats not bad at all. Heres my question though... whats the "custom" for the trail boss mean? Why not get the normal 3" lift 182's and take the block out?
  15. Okay thanks. Looks like the same path i'll be going for my '17. Deaver said they'd build the 182's to whatever spec I wanted. How long did it take for them to come in once ordered?
  16. Did you get the U182's in yet? I'm trying to do U182's in the back but i'm worried they'll lift it more than i want. Ive been told the extended shackle will only lower it a half inch. Deaver said they will build a custom set of U182's to lift the rear to the specific height I want.
  17. The BDS kit I was speaking of was the 4” or 6” coilover kit that has the weld in hoops and UCA’s. But I didn’t want to lift 4”. Think I can put together a better kit that fits my wants more.
  18. I travel for work so I’m still going to have to drive this thing all over the country. So I didn’t want to go too aggressive with a long travel prerunnerish truck. but I figured I might as well be comfortable doing it and while I’m out of Houston where we have no good places to drive I’ll take advantage of it. Then maybe later on add a little breathing treatment to her. ?
  19. Yes thank you. I understand the reason for shock hoops and how suspension works. I was looking at the bds kit that has weld in hoops but doesn’t push the wheels out like a long travel. Seems like too much work for stock width stuff. think I’m going with fox 2.5 front and rear through Accutune, Bajakits chase UCA, deaver u182 With camburg extended shackles. Then I’ll trim the front wheel wells and squeeze some 35’s in it.
  20. how much difference would you get out of a coil over setup like BDS (FOX) that has with the weld in loop?
