  3. Hey guys, started truck the other morning and got this awful loud chirp or squeak. Dod has been deleted as well as vacuum pump. I have removed serpentine and turned truck over without fuel. Knock and squeak was still present. Removed valve covers and didnt visually see anything wrong. Could it be a flex plate or bearing? And motor runs good with vacuum normal. IMG_8250.mov
  4. I would say its restricting you big time. Before blower I had vvt delete, stage 2 tsp 5.3 cam in 6.2, 1 7/8 headers no cats, into borla. Made 421 @6200 hp and 469 tq at 3700.
  5. 36 hp and 68 lb ft of torque diference on my 2014 6.2 between 87 and 93 on dyno. Pulled timing like crazy with no external load. Iat was 94 degrees. The 6.2 is not much better on 87 than a 5.3 on 93. After cam and headers it did 435 whp on 93 and 391 on 87. Its got a whipple now. Done a lot of pulls testing the fuel. It also has e85 now

  7. You will need to get the adapter to run a head unit with the bose speakers. The speakers have an amp at each speaker so you cant run your amplified jvc wires to them. Its why you dont have the proper covers
  8. How much boost you running and is it factory cam? Headers? A lot of shops go consevative on the tunes do to ring gap. Wouldnt be surprised if you had a bunch of timing pulled so the meth didnt help much. It helped on mine a lot
  9. These are known to pop at 110 or more mph. My vibration went away after I went aftermarket. Definite mod if critical speed is over 100
  10. Its working. The bypass will stay open until ir comes under load. It will not close in neutral or park. Are you building boost?
  11. Yo guys, I have a 2014 Sierra Z71. Trying to figure out the widest 33 inch tire I can put in the rear with aftermarket wheels. I dont want them to stick out past the fenders more than an inch. Would a 325 be doable with the right offset? Factory height. 600 whp. Need traction

Mine was loud so I had put a qtp twintronic screamer muffler with electric cutout in line with it and just opened cutout to straight borla. it blew the twintronic apart with the boost on the dyno. that's when i went dual. Qtp replaced under warranty if you want a muffler. 3.5 in/out. you could slap any cutout on it. cheap
  13. Did you get the xr1 installed. I had the xr1 15 inch with headers no cats on the factory 3.5 pipe split to duals. It was a drone monster. Now i have 3 inch duals with large magnaflow dual in dual out. Doesnt drone as bad but is more raspy at wot. Thinking about going dual xr1. Can hear cam fine with magnaflow though
  14. Exactly. I thought I had an afm lifter failure. But it was a broke spring and bent pushrod. It happened while towing at 2500 rpms.

  17. Couldnt have been better. Communication was great. Just all around easy to deal with
  18. Its because the pull didnt start until 3000 rpms. Its definitely got way more torque than stock. I asked the same thing. On a stock converter as well.

  20. This is not the vvt stage 2. Its the stage 2 under 5.3 cams. Its their truck stuff. Its confusing they list l86 cams with lt1 cams. I will post sheet if i can find it. Tons of torque
  21. It idles around 800 probably gonna turn it down 50 or so. No problems on stick converter. I will get a clip uploaded as soon as I figure it out
  22. Just for info. Had an afm lifter fail and broke a spring as well as bent a pushrod. Did the afm delete through texas speed. Installed trunion upgrade, tsp stage 2 truck cam. .635 .635 218 226. Pacesetter headers into the one big cat out to a borla xr1 with y pipe into duals. Airraid Modular intake tube with stock box and k&n filter. Ngk plugs and new wires. Truck made 412 hp to wheels at 5200 and 460 lbs torque at 4000. Stock 20 inch rims and tires. Installed and tuned by lsxperts.
