If a button is something that turns you away I can only imagine the other stuff in your life that is so below you lol. I have a key fob with a button that unlocks all 4 doors at once, I'm not sure what is so hard about touching a button once to do the same thing.

Yes, they do but it's for the K2XX body style trucks. There is nothing on their site that I found for the T1XX trucks with the 5.3/6.2 engines.

No, in reality the number of beds doesn't really matter. That's not really the point of what I was trying to get across. The piece just never gets into detail about more of it as it only lists a a few counties and how many places but doesn't expand on that to show where more are. That is the information I feel that they should include more of.

It's poor reporting when they fail to say how many ICU beds some of these hospitals even have. Why take the time to write this when you can't even provide the information people want to know. What if some of these places only had a handful of beds in total, it surely doesn't take long to fill them up if that is the case. These types of articles are what some people will read and just start to freak out because it's made to sound like it's the end of the world.

Going to 4.56's would help because of the tires and the added weight they bring but that is a ton of money unless you are doing the work yourself. It would be half the cost or more to go with smaller/lighter tires and sell the oversized tires to make some money back and make it even cheaper. Tuning it can help but hard to say how much of an improvement it will make.

Well, it was 4.10's. I say that because those look to be oversized tires compared to stock. So it did reduce your gear ratio by some with those larger tires. Towing performance will go down because of that. Without a scanner hooked up and possible a back pressure sensor on there, I can't really see what it's doing and if there is a possible exhaust restriction before the cat converter.

There many different mufflers made through magnaflow, not all will have bad sounds. Never had any drone problems with the magnaflow I used 5 years ago. They don't sell it anymore but it was a oval body about 22-24in long.

I'm a Magnaflow type sound person. I do not like the chambered style mufflers of most Flowmasters. Most systems are going to stay pretty tame at low rpm because you will still have the 3 cat converters before the muffler acting as resonators. Removing those will give you terrible rasp and that's not what you want either.

Then what is the plan? Thing can't be shut off like a light switch to make it go away. You can't stop the world because things still have to happen to just survive. Mask mandates in states like California have been in place for 1 month or longer yet cases still sky rocketed, so what does that tell you? If you ask me, you can make a plan but expect everything to change in a short time. The goal posts for all this continue to move, it's a going to be a outgoing cycle for a long time. Maybe a vaccine will come, maybe it won't. Yes, this is kinda just word vomit here.

Most people I talk to that have had shafts break or the ones you see on youtube dyno runs don't feel the vibration until right before it goes boom. There's a thread on performance trucks.net with a guy doing 95mph and it just went with no warning. I'm not saying they are weak in the fact that they can hold up to heavy towing and they do just fine even with 600hp. It's just the speed the shaft turns that grenades them. To me it's not worth the time to remove the stock shaft and have it taken to a shop so they can spin it up. Replace it with something better that will handle the speed without any question.

The drive shafts have been pretty much the same since mid 2000's for the aluminum style. They are that 3.5 to 4in size. The single cab long beds with aluminum shafts in some of those years got massive 5in shafts but that's not really the point here. The metal is paper thin, ever seen a shredded shaft?? If drive shafts from the K2XX body style can break, so with the T1XX trucks. They aren't going to make it better very much different when the exact same drivetrain parts are carried over from the previous trucks.

Sure you can, you just don't tell anyone what you are doing if somehow you got pulled over. There aren't cops and the law man at every single road coming and going from a state.

I have no idea, good luck finding it. Without a dealership parts book, you probably won't get it. Napa has a whole section on automotive body clips and wire harness clips. I mean you could just go to the store or call the dealership if you really wanted to know, do some work on your own.

What is bad about the current engine? Can it be rebuilt or is there a window in the block with a rod hanging out?? To make your life simple it would be the easiest to find a 454 with another truck or RV from 1991 to 1995 to make it a drop in and go unit. Swapping to the newer stuff would be more involved that just the engine/computer. You'd need to upgrade the fuel system for port fuel injection and possibly even need to swap the dash/cluster to make the PCM talk with all of that. They changed the interiors and all the wiring stuff in 1995 and more so in 1996 with the vortec engines.

Does that stat matter though? It's not in a slow down stage, it's just going to keep going steady. Flipping a switch and shutting down a country won't fix it either.

The 6 speed can more than handle the 6.2. They had them from the factory in 2014 and all the years prior in the older gen trucks. The trick for part of this is getting the right year as a few things did change. I know for sure the connector for part of the high pressure fuel system changed after 2016. So if you had a 2016-2018, find a 2016+ 6.2 for a plug and play deal. All someone should have to do for the tune is copy over 6.2 data into the 5.3 file to make it run as if it were that way from the factory.

Small evap leaks are normally from the gas cap and unrelated to this other issue. A smoke test would be best to determine that. Or just clean the metal fuel neck and clean the rubber gasket on the cap, clear the code and see if it comes back. Your pump isn't exactly failing as it still works fine to keep the low side pressure high enough while running. There may be a thing going on with the regulator/check ball bleeding off pressure quicker than it should. Priming the system twice like you have been doing is allowing it to pump the fuel line back up then build enough pressure. The high side pump is mechanical and turn that pressure into 1,000-3,000psi. Pretty sure you'd have to replace the whole fuel pump assembly in the tank, would be pretty spendy.

Well good luck with doing that now. There would be no economy if the world came to a screaming halt and the fallout would be worse than the virus. We're pretty much at the "just deal with it" stage. No vaccine with no real time table for one yet either, it's a toss up on anything like that. Also give it a couple years and I think there will be all these lawsuits of people claiming that these cleaning products and hand sanitizers gave them cancer because they basically drowned themselves in this stuff everyday.
