  1. Thanks! Yeah it's been a long winter of squirreling away parts, haha. I've got a 2 inch level on the front right now. I go back and forth on whether I want to drop it 2 inches.

  3. I love this. So much for the "sleeper" idea with that hockey jersey sized 7-0 ?????? . But damn right people better know what they're dealing for what you put in to this! I'd do the exact same. Let's run em this Summer. In NH... because, well, your State Troopers are dicks about this sorta thing. Or we've got the Epping drag strip.
  4. Gonna be insane. Can't wait to see the numbers. Sounds great.
  5. Hey bud! She's doing great. Got the cam in, making a hair under 500 wheel. I got meth installed at the same time, but the boost controller died somewhere between James and Alex, so that needs to be replaced and then we'll turn up the boost and retune. I'm waiting till the new year to get it done because it's a far haul from me to James, but we'll get that hammered out soon. I saw you have updates on your page, heading there now.
  6. Exhaust manifold and y pipe are stock, I'm sure you can keep it quiet-ish if that's what you're going for. But the turbo itself is loud, you'll hear all the whistle.
  7. Last pic. Only thing I think I want to do (and I hate that I want to do anything because it's definitely not lacking anything for what I wanted) in the future, is a regear. I was wanting that anyway. Now it just seems even more right. She especially likes to dance at the top end. If I lived in Texas or something, the 3.42 gearing and going 140 would be awesome. But in NH, I'll die, so I'd rather move that power curve to the left some.
  8. Thanks Marv! Real fun...
  9. Oh yeah, 4wd gets used only when the plow doesn't come... haha. No worries about the clearance.
  10. So I went to Granite State Dyno about a Whipple supercharger. James over there asked me a bunch of good questions, and said he had this idea. In a nutshell, it's a rear (mid?) mounted borg warner turbo... beautifully piped to a front mounted intercooler. Great great work by these guys. That trick little catch can is one of my favorite parts...haha. Down to brass tax... she makes 451whp/494wtq. Sounds incredible. Saved me a bunch of money vs the Whipple. Keeps my engine bay open so getting in there to work stays easy. Now that it's in and the car is tuned for it, I'd even say it's driveway serviceable (to a novice like me) more the most part, which is great.
  11. Well, things have been happening. First off, Tire Rack didn't have the wheels I ordered, and I never got around to getting a new set, as I got distracted by this other thing. So... the other thing -
  12. You got it! It's a Cover King. It's held up well for the year it's been on, it could just use a few more pieces of velcro tape. Mine is the poly carpet model. The next one I order would probably the same brand but their "molded" model which is more rigid and shaped exactly to the contours of your dash.
  13. Thanks Marv! That is indeed a cutout for the speaker. When you order off their website they give you the option to choose the cutout or not based on your dash.
  14. Oh, and we have a pet goose who thinks her best friend lives in my chrome bumper.
  15. Greetings. New guy here, so please freely call me out an any forum missteps. I started out with a base model 2018 GMC Sierra 4wd, regular cab, standard bed. It has a snow plow package and 3.42 gears. Onyx Black. No frills. I'll try and remember the order in which I did everything. All work do date has been done in my driveway, which I'm reasonably proud of because I work a job where I mostly send emails and sit in meetings. -- Debadging happened the first day of ownership... just my thing, costs nothing. -- Blacked out my front badge with with plasti dip -- Removed the air dam -- Cover King carpeted dash mat added, in the color of 'wine'. -- Cover King saddle blanket seat covers added in wine/whiteish.... returned after about a month because they were coming apart at the seams in a quite literal sense. Back to my grey cloth seats. -- Added a Rough Country 2 inch level (those cheap spacer things that are shaped like 'C' -- Brow tint on the windshield and multiple layers of Collinite way done by Motoring Images in Lee NH (ok, this wasn't in my driveway) -- Airaid modular intake and filter added. Sounds great, I'm a fan. -- Borla ATAK cat back system with polished tips. Sounds wonderful. -- Diablo Intune3 handheld tuner, custom (non dyno, remote) tuned further for 91+ and some extra oomph by Lew. -- Mudflaps installed and ultimately removed because they were the no drill kind and drilling would have helped from losing one in a carwash or who knows where, so those are gone.
  16. Marv, I can't adequately express how similar our tastes are. I didn't look at all 29 pages of this yet... I smiled as you blacked out your front badge... nearly spit out my drink when I saw you got a bed rug. By the end of the summer, I'll be adding a bed rug too. I'm next to positive someone must have asked you this already but being that I'm amazed you not only got a tire that wide to fit, but did so on a dropped truck... how does it NOT rub something? With as good as it looks I wouldn't even care about rub... I want to eventually take out my 2 inch front level and drop the back. Thanks man, Matt --------EDIT------- FOUND MY ANSWER ON YOUR WHEELS.... can't hardly believe it, but I love it!
