  1. So, without endless searching of threads that may or may not be helpful - can I get some folks help me with some specific mods I can do to upgrade my 24 GMC Sierra 1500 Pro to do the following? Specifically, interested in what harness plugs are there for any interior upgrades like dimming rear view mirror/tow mirrors, etc. May do the aftermarket radio upgrade eventually with the big screen setup, not sure if there are others that are common.
  2. Brand new airbag system, opened box for pics. Sold the truck before I had a chance to install. Should fit 2007-2018 Part #2430. $300 firm plus shipping
  3. That's another clever idea. And, the milk crates are the best for transporting a propane tank!
  4. Joe, no UCA's? Just the Bilsteins? I have a 24 Pro trim level, want to level and maybe do the same AT4 wheels in 18".
  5. Thanks for the idea. Was gonna get the spring loaded bar from HF, but I may change it up and do a more custom option to hold some packout type boxes at the back.
  6. Same for me, started right off - wasn't sure if it was rain or the water from the Tidal Wave car wash I use, but it's terrible and I've fought it to try and get rid of those spots. I think I'm gonna make a warranty claim - truck is 4 months old with 9k. Chem guys water spot remover seems to get it gone, but it comes back with rain or car wash. Def bad plastic. I was wondering if anyone else had the same issue. My truck is Pro trim level, and I think all the plastics and the painted bumper is subpar. Already have spots in the paint on the painted front end areas as well - thin crappy factory paint and clear. Quality on this 2024 is def worse than on my 2018 or other prior models.
  7. I'm more interested in getting one cause the paint on my 2024 seems to be super thin. Already have several spots on the front end paint around bumper/headlights - 4 months and 9K. Thinking it will keep my hood in better shape. Really dissapointed in the paint quality on this truck, both body color and the bumper paint (Pro trim level). The plastics are also subpar, have either acid rain spotting or spotting from carwash on the cowl pieces.
  8. Nice to see they are a local company here in AL making products, but seem a bit pricey. I think I'll see how they last before droppin $ on em.
  9. Chassis Unlimited has some nice looking front and rear bumpers, pricey but seem to be solid.
  10. If memory serves me right, they have three settings. Use the middle one, or the one just below the max setting. My 2018 is level, riding on 32-33' tires on 17" wheels. I can't remember my exact tire size. I also got the kit with their springs, and added Cognito UCA's.
  11. I'll do $150 shipped for this if interested. Thanks.
  12. I'd do $150 shipped, payment via paypal. Thanks!
  13. Have these waiting to go on, glad to hear they work well. Planning to install myself as well.
  14. So, I've searched and found some help. However, are there any tips for connecting a small 6 fuse block near the main battery? I'm not quite sure which of the extra taps under the cover to use for +, or if I should even fuse the 8-10" of 4 AWG going to the fuse block. Plane to mount the fuse panel on top of main battery, and run the negative bus to batt ground post. Which also has me wondering if there are any connectors out there to make it easier to hook into the factory negative batt clamp. The screw on the clamp is pretty short, and I don't want to hack off the factory battery clamp to use an aftermarket one. Also, are there any easier points on passenger side firewall area to push wires through? Ive seen the driver's door point and drivers firewall plug that's a pain. Anyone also know where any grommets are in rear of crew cab to run CB/ham radio antenna wire?
  15. PM me if ya haven't sold yet.
  16. bdbake01, can you provide a little more info on where and how to wire into the factory current sensor? Where is it located. Any pics of your install would be great! Looking to do this too.
  17. If you've found the pillar brackets and ready to sell, send me a DM and I'll take em off your hands.
  18. I can tell you exactly what I would do, and have been looking for a truck to do it with!! Bear with me....I have a 49 Chevy Fleetline Deluxe car that my wifes great grandfather bought new. Last on the road in 1970, and has all the stainless trim and doors shut like a bank vault. Minimal rust, but the family wanted to have it hauled away from the old homeplace. I jumped at the chance to grab it. Factory engine was a straight six, 216 cu. These engines had "babbit bearings", which are poured bearings and make this engine basically far too cost prohibitive to rebuild. So, I lucked into a 56 235 straight 6 from a one owner family 56 pickup to go in the 49. But, I want the 49 to be a driver, and the 235 isn't all that powerful and can't be built to be. So, still wanting to be different than the V8 SBC crowd, I got a Chevy straight 6 292 for it. So now, I have this great low mileage 235 inline six - can ya tell I just love these old straight sixes? There's one guy on an S10 forum that did exactly this - put an old straight 6 into an S10, and that's what I wanna do. Lightweight truck, reliable and basic straight 6 with plenty of torque to move it along nicely. Also have a T5 to put behind it, which obviously fits nicely with the idea of finding an S10 manual truck for the swap. Won't be like that same ole thing everybody else does with a SBC. Neat lil daily driver or fun around town truck, be fun to take to a car show and freak folks out. So, if you decide not to build it - which I am NOT trying to talk you out of doing, don't trash it!!!! Call me and I'll be on the way from Bham AL with a trailer!!
  19. My thinking as well, and save on labor down the road if I decide to do a little more.
  20. I've got the Cognito arms, but will def check on that to see if mine need to be installed the same way.
  21. Iron, what kinda labor price you get to install the Eibach kit and UCa's, cause I'm shopping labor for the same and just wondering how they compare.
  22. only 3 posts and 2017, I think it's safe to say he isn't checking this forum
  23. Was looking as well, mainly for my bed topper though - haven't found anything yet that will sit low enough for my taste, don't like the mounts that sit them up 5-6 inches off the body.
  24. Got my kit plus Cognito UCA's waiting to go on. I was quoted 4 hours labor @ $105 per to do the install by a local shop (just for the kit and arms, that doesn't include alignment and such). Sounded pretty reasonable to me, I live in a large metro area so I don't expect to see the lowest labor rates anyway. What do you guys think?
