  1. If you think about how the seats work, you'll realize those aren't intakes but actually exhausts. The intake is the seat surfaces and the air is pulled through them and exhausted out the bottom, which gives the cooling effect due to drawing air conditioned air down around your back and rear end.
  2. I like the Chemical Guys leather quick detailer. Has a nice new leather smell. Not identical to new car smell but pretty close. https://www.amazon.com/Chemical-Guys-SPI21616-Leather-Detailer/dp/B01MRJOUA4/ref=sr_1_9?crid=1OWLMTGRYXMCD&dchild=1&keywords=chemical+guys+leather+cleaner&qid=1616095431&sprefix=chemical+guys+leather,aps,175&sr=8-9&th=1
  3. That's a fair question. Where I park at work, there are windows right in front of me so I have confirmed multiple times using the reflection that the signals are working.
  4. Does anyone else with a Sierra feel like the front turn signals are not all that visible to other drivers? Frequently, I'll put on my signal well before a turn and a driver waiting to pull out will sit there as if I'm not turning. Then, when I do turn, they give a frustrated look as if I never signaled. I realize that, unlike many other vehicles, the DRL does not turn off when signaling. Makes me want to look for a way to add some small amber lights to the outside or underside of the mirrors that tie into the turn signals.
  5. Just copied this from the manual: Delayed Locking If equipped, this feature delays the locking of the doors until five seconds after all doors are closed. Delayed locking can only be turned on when the Open Door Anti-Lockout feature has been turned off. When (the lock button) is pressed on the power door lock switch while the door is open, a chime will sound three times indicating delayed locking is active. The doors will lock automatically five seconds after all doors are closed. If a door is reopened before that time, the five-second timer will reset when all doors are closed again.
  6. Yeah, I'm not sure what happens if you press the outside button before other doors are closed but it definitely works with the inside button. There might be a setting that needs to be enabled in order for this to work but I don't remember for sure.
  7. Why not just press the interior lock button and listen for the 3 chimes? The doors will automatically lock a few seconds after the last door closes. You'll also get the horn confirmation if you have that setting enabled.
  8. Definitely. I called pretending not to know the standard price and when they offered it for $15 per month, I explained that it just wasn't worth that to me. I told them that $5 per month was more reasonable and I'd be wiling to pay for a full year at a discount. I got put on hold and the rep came back with an offer for $99 for a year. I said that still wasn't good enough and they countered with $90 for the year ($7.50 per month). I ended up accepting that.
  9. Thanks for doing this review and posting the videos. I already had the flapper valve propped open and the resonator screens covered on my 2019 Sierra 5.3L but I was looking for a little more sound and a deeper tone. Based on your posts, I ordered the AFE muffler and got it installed today. The sound is exactly what I had hoped for. My only concern was that I found a very slight harshness in the cabin at certain RPMs. It wasn't bad enough to even call a drone and I think I could have lived with it but for the heck of it, I removed the covering from the last resonator screen on each side. The result was a slightly quieter, but still deep, exhaust note and a much more pleasing in-cabin sound. Extremely pleased with this set-up.
  10. I have the 5.3L/8 speed combo on a 2019 Sierra and I've had my Range device installed for about a week now and I'm pleased with it. I never really noticed the DFM doing it's thing until I propped open the exhaust flapper valve and covered the tailpipe resonator screens. I'm still planning on further modifying the exhaust but that's another discussion. The change in sound is what prompted me to try out the device but I do also notice slightly better throttle response. My commute is about 1/3 secondary roads and 2/3 highway and I've seen about 1 MPG loss overall. Others have mentioned some hard shifts when using the device but that hasn't been my experience at all.
  11. The RA003 disables DFM and auto stop/start. The one you bought only does the auto stop/start AFAIK.
  12. To answer your original question, the light stays on because technically auto stop/start is still active. However, it will never engage because the range device tricks the ECM into thinking that there is a load on the engine. J
  13. Has anyone successfully added a strobe module to their 2019? My understanding is that the bulb is LED but is in a sealed housing that must be accessed through the cab above the headliner. Maybe the module can be wired at the harness somewhere under the dash?
  14. I just double checked the manual and it does state that you must wait at least 30 seconds after initiating a remote start before you can extend.
  15. But what would be the point of that anyway? Instead of running for 15 minutes on one cycle, you'd only get 15 minutes plus something less than 30 seconds. Hardly worth the effort.
  16. Actually, you can do it any time during the first remote start cycle and it adds 15 minutes from when you complete the sequence for the 2nd time. For instance, if you remote start and after 10 minutes of run time you press lock and then start it will add 15 minutes for a total of 25 minutes.
  17. Your post just reminded me of a "feature" that I noticed the other day and it will save you 1 button press (16% increase in efficiency). You don't need to release the P brake with the button. Just put the truck in drive or reverse and the P brake will release as soon as you touch the accelerator.
  18. I knew that tapping the buttons behind the left side of the steering wheel scrolls through your presets but if you press and hold, it tunes to the next available station. That's how it works for XM radio anyway. I haven't tried it for FM or other inputs.
