  1. Ok, if you don't mind - how much does a full wrap like this cost?
  2. The August TSB https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2019/MC-10163890-9999.pdf says Vehicles that are presented with TCC shudder should have the appropriate fluid exchange procedure completed. Diagnosis beyond the customer compliant is not required if vehicle was built prior to production dates indicated above. Unfortunately, it also says it only applies to Transmissions M5U and M5X, - neither of which seem to be offered in the T1s. (Only MQE for the 8 speed) - so not sure where the M5U/M5X come from - they are probably in the older models. Does anyone have a TSB for the 2019 Sierra/Silverado models?
  3. How do you know MQE has the new fluid? - Mine shows MQE but a build date of 2/19, which I though indicated old fluid....
  4. On the GMC Configure page it shows Trailering Package1 Increased towing and GCWR Automatic locking rear differential Handling/Trailering2 Suspension Package Enhanced cooling radiator Revised shock tuning Heavier duty rear springs and increased RGAWR 9.76" rear axle 3.42 axle ratio Trailer brake controller May require additional optional equipment But then when you try to add the 3.0 and the Max trailering package, it removes the 3.0 and drops you back to the 5.3....
  5. Fascinating that they mix Chevy and GMC at the same as evidenced in the last scene... I would have thought they would do a run of one, then the other - but I guess they are similar enough that it doesn't matter...
  6. I really dig the Elevation Grille.... I'm totally thinking of getting color matched Summit White one for my SLT..... Anybody want a Chrome Grille?
  7. I'm guessing this doesn't work with the T1s.... the 2019 inclusion there is for the Limited... note it needs IO5 or IO6 radio....
  8. Maybe not a cool feature, but interesting... I notice that the T1s moved the side mirrors to the actual door panel instead of the window triangle. Not sure why I noticed that, but now that I have, I see it in every car on the road... seems majority of vehicles have them mounted in the triangle... but a few others have door mounted mirrors... I'm sure they had their reasons.....
  9. So to be clear, you were able to install everything and not have to remove the handle at all? Things mount around it?
  10. Has anybody actually bought/used one of these? They look like they sit a lot higher on the bed than most of the others. Is the locking mechanism really a big deal on the others? Anybody had an issue?
  11. Where in Arkansas are you? My wife's family is still there. We are in northern California around Sacramento. I got the best deal going 30 miles away... it was worth the drive to save a couple grand...
  12. You are correct sir! 2 different dealers both said no option to add..... 1 recommended checking back later since the 2019s are still pretty new...
  13. Anybody know if I can add the Side mirror cameras and the Front view camera to my SLT? I've had other threads on this and nobody has been solid on it... but I do have the mirrors already that look like there is room for the cameras... how would I know if the wiring for the Front camera is in place? Do I just need to go talk to my dealer?
  14. Work with the dealer - we got the discount for current GM Leasees, which we aren't, but they gave us the discount anyhow.... So you may get more than you think.
  15. To be clear, the Isuzu was forced into retirement...not me
  16. First Pick-Up truck I just retired (well, forced retirement) my 1999 Isuzu Trooper Most other vehicles I've seen have the audio controls on the front of the steering wheel....
  17. Another one.... This one discovered by my 10 year old... Always wondered why there's no steering wheel audio controls.... Turns out there are! Buttons on the back side of both sides of the steering wheel...... Amazing. Nothing mentioned in the user manual.. (it's in the separate infotainment manual)
  18. See the thread in the Engine/exhaust sub forum on $20 exhaust upgrade... a bit ghetto but seems to work for the folks who like that sort of thing
  19. 2 things discovered today - --1: The trailer light check in the MyGMC app is pretty cool. Finally got around to rewiring my boat trailer and wanted to test it out - the app fires up all the lights in sequence so nobody has to sit in the truck pushing pedals and flicking levers --2: ok, probably not a big deal, but finally figured out what the round cover thing is to the right side of my license plate.... having never owned a truck before, didn't realize that is where you get access to the spare
  20. By changing the flow of exhaust out the back, does this affect California Emissions at all? (easy enough to remove for the Smog test though if it does)
  21. My first "changes" to my SLT - California DMV sent me my plates so I added those along with removing the dealer plate frame and replacing with my Alumni one (Go Mustangs!)... Also bought 3rd party center console organizer and cargo net from Amazon.... This is the extent of the changes to my truck....
  22. Yeah - the package comes with the 2 cameras and the hook up in the back for the behind-the-trailer camera... Just wondering if maybe all the wiring is there already and just need to stick the camera modules in on the mirrors... wonder if it needs a SW update, or if SW just knows when cameras are present....
  23. So GMC offers the Trailer Camera package for $250 up front - but what if I bought my truck without the cameras, but want to add them later... Is it something the dealer can do? or even I could add? - looks like the sockets are there in the bottom of the mirrors....
