  1. Shot in the dark but did you try to disable "absolute volume" on the Galaxy? I had some odd issues when playing music with bluetooth. I activated the "disable absolute volume" on the Galaxy (S-8) and it cured my issue. (issues were volume related, changing volume on radio also changed volume on phone) The "absolute volume" toggle is in settings under developer options.
  2. What is "the cold hesitation"?
  3. Tell them to check it for leaks AFTER they are done with the "repair" Soapy water sprayed on the outside of the window frame, a little air from the air hose nozzle blasted at the inside of the window frame top and sides better not produce bubbles. If it does.....they have failed. It must pass the test prior to being returned.
  4. I took mine through the car wash today to get all the nasty road salt off. Checked the rear window, so far so good after using the permatex flowable silicone in the leak the tech found.
  5. What the hell???
  6. In my case I do NOT need or WANT a crew cab. I want double cab standard bed. Not the longer wheel base quad cab standard bed. And for 21 the SLT is NOT available in double cab. Only Elevation, SLE ,Etc. SLT, AT4 and Denali are quad cab only, but different bed lengths are available.
  7. I have the double cab, standard bed AT4 ,5.3 heavily loaded but without a sunroof. (Don't care for sunroofs) Almost exactly what I want. The only thing I would prefer is a 10 speed tranny but it was not available with the 5.3 at the time. Now that it is I can no longer get the AT4 in double cab. I wonder if the 8 speed could be changed to a 10 speed??
  8. A new headliner for your truck is a must have, period. Sealing the entire gap between glass and cab should, in my mind, stop any water from finding a way in. Remember, you can bring your truck to ANY GM truck dealer. I have found a HUGE difference in service between dealers. Some are great. Some should not be allowed to go anywhere near a new vehicle. (I used to work at a dealership many years ago, saw it first hand even then.)
  9. You seriously need to find a different dealer to bring your truck to. No way in hell would I find that even close to acceptable!!!
  10. O.K., now that's funny. B.T.W. the decals came out very nice. I like them.Well done!
  11. I have to ask. What's under the mirror on the driver door?
  12. Are you talking about a hesitation between one of the shifts after the truck has sat all night?. If so there are threads here that mention the torque converter draining during the night and that hesitation is caused by the trans fluid filling the converter again. On the other issue with the dealership. W.T.F....
  13. If you put it into L and start at 1 it is up to the driver to shift to the next gear via the + or down using the -. If you shift into L and use the + to run it up to 7 either before moving or while in motion it will shift on its own up until the highest gear chosen.
  14. I'd go to a different dealership. I did not buy my truck from the dealership that I have handle my warranty issues and they have no problem giving me a loaner (car) for as long as I need.
  15. Further checking proved I was mistaken. I always gave the dial a quick "flick" the same direction check. In reality what I was doing was changing it to sport. Live and learn.
  16. The rear window leak is primarily seen in the 1/2 ton trucks with the sliding rear window. They suffer from hairline cracks developing in the plastic window frame. (very thin). Just got mine back today after attempt # 2. Pouring buckets here and it appears to have been successful (so far) Spray soapy water along the outside of the window frame then use an air hose/nozzle and blow air along the inside of the window. Check the entire window along the edges. You see bubbles forming you have found a leak. Sounds like you have multiple areas to deal with. In the above thread some have mentioned using flowable silicone on their rear windows.
  17. There were a bunch of recalls related to computer functions. Many people experienced all kinds of warnings, brake issues, etc. that lead to the recalls and computer updates in 2019. I can think of 3 recalls (2 computer updates) that were done to my AT4 in late 2019 early 2020. I did not have issues prior to the recalls but they were done anyway.
  18. Question for those who have the Pulsar. Once you have everything set where you want it does it have to be reset if you remove it and then reinstall it? Example being you are bringing vehicle to dealership for oil change and do not want it recorded that Pulsar is in vehicle. You take it out, have service performed, then reinstall it.
  19. It took just over 1 year before mine started to leak. Thought I escaped that issue, but I didn't.
  20. Has anyone with the rear slider been leak free?? Has anyone who had a leaker had a successful repair?
  21. Smart move. I asked if double cabs were having the issue also. The very next time it rained.......I find a leak! This after a whole year of no leaking issue. Already had taken back to dealership. Rear window removed and resealed. And it leaked again. To be continued....
  22. Yup. DC AT4. Love mine. The unicorns. Not very many out there, most I see are CC.
  23. Does this leaking rear window issue seem to be primarily on crew cabs with sliders or are double cabs with sliders being problematic also? So far so good with mine. (fingers crossed)
  24. If your truck has the Duratrac tires from factory they have a speed rating of "Q", which is 99 MPH. Your truck speed limiter will be factory set to the tire speed rating. (which sucks)
  25. Keep us posted. I have a 2019 AT4 also (5.3) and am seriously looking at this unit to modify my current settings.
