  1. Ummm they still offer protection while retracted. They just look nicer doing it. ;) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  2. That’s just what they do. The pump primes. They ALL do it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  3. Haha well it takes some extra wire and switch and mounting the switch and ehhhhhh Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  4. I said that because I THINK the high beam/fog light mod is supposed to be wired in a way that turns the fog lights on when the high beams are on. The fog lights continue to function as they did from the factory when the high beams are not activated. This still lets you turn them on and off (without the high beam) as you please. That’s what I meant about controlling them. The only way to control them with the auto fog mod is to install a switch in-line with the boost part. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  5. When connected as instructed it does not interfere with them as it activates them after the BCM. The truck doesn’t know they are on. Also, you don’t need both products. Or any at all if you can acquire a diode. You only need the 6-light product unless you still want to have control (be able to have them off when you want them off) over the fog lights. 6. Wait you were able to check temps of the “cycle” of the defroster when it was hot out but you’re saying it doesn’t come on when it’s hot out? So you manually turned it on for this test you did? Just wondering. I don’t really care what people do with their trucks and I’ll keep doing what I do. I’m not trying to argue that you MUST turn the remote start defroster off. I’m just saying it’s what I do. Maybe one day I’ll do the same test you did, just for fun. And yes mine is a 2019 so I’m patiently waiting for my turn to get on this list. 7. The problem was they would get too hot. In cold weather. Because fords are smarter and don’t turn it on when it’s not cold outside. Ha! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  8. F150s used to shatter back windows with the defroster. I’m still scared from that one. Plus there’s no need for it to come on in the summer. I’ll keep it disabled [emoji1417] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  9. I think the defroster turning on when it’s hot out might have something to do with it. If you remote start a lot. I turned mine off. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  10. Put a magnaflow 11229 on and deleted the rear flapper. Sounds great on the outside but gets pretty loud around 1600 RPM while accelerating. I might go back to stock. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  11. Had them on my at4. They have pretty good traction while wet. Not sure about snow and ice. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  12. It goes away after a few seconds of being started. Relaaaaaxxxx. It’s one of the characteristics of having a 6.2 idk Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  13. Not sure if these truck has an actual float but fords (2011-2016 at least) have level sensors. They show full, half, and low. No in between. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  14. Just did a homemade tap for mine. Cut the power wire and soldered some short pieces of paper clip to the wires and stuck them into the correct pin locations. Saved $50! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  15. Ok but did you disassemble it all or just wrap it in place? If you took it apart, any tips? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  16. You forgot to wipe the screen [emoji38] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  17. Rough country 2” level installed. Sits exactly level now. Next upgrade will be UCAs and MAYBE some timbrens to help with sag while loaded. I’ve used airbags in 2 previous vehicles and really don’t want to use them on this one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  18. It’s the company’s fault. They’re literally the exact same thing. The 6-light instructions have you wire it in a way that everything remains the same EXCEPT for when the high beams are activated. The auto fog instructions wire it so that any time the park lights are on, the fogs will be on. They should clarify the difference between them a little more clearly. 19. So use one of the diodes they sold you and connect it to the park lamps/fogs. This gives you what you’re looking for. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  20. You only need one. [emoji3061] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  21. Color matched mirror caps? Unless you’ve got a black truck. [emoji38] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  22. Sorry if this has been posted already. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  23. That’s 2 pounds more than my 6.2 AT4, for reference. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  24. Yeah no problem. Just saw your “6.2 engine whine” post from 2016, ironically. Seems we have/had similar concerns, albeit 4 years apart. Although I know it’s coming from the compressor which is why I asked if others hear it too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
