Try to find out how long they’ve had it. Look carefully at the stickers on it and on their web page and other ads and you should be able to find out. If they’ve had it more than a week then numerous people have seen their ads and are passing on it at that price. Priced right it would go in days.
With order wait times back down to about 3 months, that dealer is pushing it and just hoping to get an impatient customer. That’s one approach to car sales, and it might work for them here, but with interest rates so high they need to move stuff. I think that is one of the less popular colors, as well.
Your $75k would not be an insulting offer, although they might act like it is. Make the offer you think is fair (I have no idea what’s fair because I haven’t done the research, but new msrp plus isn’t fair in the current market). When they initially say no just give them your phone number and walk out. They’ll call you back within a few days if it hasn’t sold. If it does sell, be glad your weren’t the one who paid over new msrp for a used truck.
