  2. I'm still toying with converting to the 4" screen

  4. 6.2 is the way to go. short bed standard cab v6 is also a good combo it makes 300hp and gets over 18/24mpg
  5. Mushimoto makes an All alluminum high flow radiator, $1000. no plastic tanks on it which is nice if you need to repair it if you use the 2500 HD front bumper this has more airflow to the radiator area also, but will cost more for the accessorie parts to make it work , unless you find one at a wrecker
  6. I think the Air/water is more efficient, the stock supercharger from the boosted Camaro has all this stuff ready to go, you might want to just source the Camaro LT parts instead of aftermarket stuff, GM has better engineering IMO I would add the larger MaxTow radiator, that comes on the 6.2 trucks, its thicker and will outperform the 5.3 radiator, also an oil cooler would be smart.. not sure but is there a way to add oil piston sprayers to the 5.3 from say the LT5 motor?
  7. good points on the shape of the shoulder of the tire..
  8. call tech support for details
  9. that's what I use, the road heat and sun warms them up to 35/32
  10. that's about the same miles I got when it started acting goofy. I'm thinking about installing the base model radio instead, if it will operate my xm service, i have no use for the 8" screen https://www.ebay.com/itm/233352897294?_trkparms=amclksrc%3DITM%26aid%3D1110018%26algo%3DHOMESPLICE.COMPLISTINGS%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D234213%26meid%3D0d51488927fa4cd9a9bb2c64a6c081bd%26pid%3D101196%26rk%3D4%26rkt%3D12%26sd%3D334156379802%26itm%3D233352897294%26pmt%3D1%26noa%3D0%26pg%3D2047675%26algv%3DPromotedCompV4WithHighAdFee%26brand%3DChevrolet&_trksid=p2047675.c101196.m2219&amdata=cksum%3A2333528972940d51488927fa4cd9a9bb2c64a6c081bd|enc%3AAQAGAAACENwieQzRqoorM%2FXGcMlx0XXb3Rcs%2FmFlFITYdQglUCten6qy2bm0ly2dl9O2iQo0HAhnofjxDxK3j%2Fd1aX9ekh%2FIigHNLjDhaz50l%2FJpZUjW2fZzBAU4tfmNEDcie9Y5opnVhz3Zov892cRNHhvuxytusnjnYHK%2B6ChLbQhF3PwcymN6PgF5LjhKvh%2Fue6tVI7e6JzaJybVyImefKJ2KT13NpMGJwLr7tbDj%2BfftxKt%2BpAMKUj35ZGtcJ0VViHeERe8GQJ9KxrPy3v682nCIJuWteZCSGBky%2F9HJCxWgMN3uLRLKuk3SAq9Aczk6nPWrQPVLgnXMq%2BMIdqwipHVOQZ%2FXMAKkDZnpv61op21jkwAdne6hxxKMXt5W8x1oEcQZwklBBBKWyrHpCPUn2BcLQNmIw6E0he6q1bXdVp%2BB9fbFcjW44LJqd1mEMuQ05c3u5g3xoer19T3dxtWdtZ1C2foKTZu0nkUGqVmp5jOkf4Ff%2BLm2Zrd%2F9UtTvsYtpgmCRrk5jw3jE1tkzhEXaWcZ9LBlrpFcdqvtOHsesZopTm3h8sbOtaHub1Pz5HaBXYtvaqwg2u%2Fp7lUDhTOBmrLOtjflJ%2F0eOZ%2BiTrWkJCDDR47bAfvJuGji%2B0cSmLpbOiqsE2I6xHMXcH6pVOs9%2FDTRdLWwAy2OXaPKcC%2B1WMlvoPkjVIQ3A1g510k48joN1RMb2Q%3D%3D|ampid%3APL_CLK|clp%3A2047675&epid=2292348151
  11. dont get your hopes up post Covid everything is a disappointment.
  12. HPtuners offers an upgrade for our trucks fan system, I'ts posted on the forum by the techs there.
  13. like i said they open up late, and close too early... I do buy the synth oil and fruits when i am able to get inthere, just not worth the hassle dealing with crowds.
  14. because its horrible , when you should learn how to downshift manually,, thats why
  15. could be your trans pump or your fuel pump, or some other pump, who knows... get a stethoscope and feel around down there. if you think its the converter pull it now , take to a shop and install the 6 bolt converter from a 2500HD truck that uses the 6l90e. these are the best upgrade and dosnt change the stall like a corvette or camaro or ctsV
  16. I got a Costco membership last year. I wish I could use it, everytime I want to get Fuel, the line up is a half hour wait.. then on the weekends they open up too late, and they close too early, i guess its Covid hours. i just can never get in that place. dumping my membership when its time to renew
  17. how do you disable it for good?
  18. have you tried installing the larger radiator from the 6.2 or maxtow option?. 5.3 trucks has a puny v6 radiator that is impressive for it's size, but easily maxes out cooling capacity when towing. I will be upgrading soon. if you got a tuner , try installing the upgraded OS for the cooling system via HPtuners, it gives you more control over the fan temps, also try running a 160 stat for summer towing.
  19. it located in the DIC cluster under offroad , its not very accurate.
  20. I wish GM offered a nice set of steel wheels besides the WT model, wich is too narrow to run a 12" with tire, I did see a low pro steel rim on the PPV tahoe yesterday, very stought but ugly. I prefer the 17" alloys on the 2020 T1's, but for 4 wheeling or drag racing 16-15" is ideal , better ride , grip, and lanch on smaller rims, the 20,21,22" are horrible for ride and handling, cost too much for tires, and easily damaged, they are how you say for the "Ghetto" type personalities who don't know better
  21. how many miles are you at??
  22. yeah mine is also getting goofy, not turning off but scrolls thru the xm radio channels and enters edit mode on the home screen
  23. is it possible to remove this in the software using HPtuners, where would i find these tables to delete the "grade breaking?"
