  2. https://ventura.craigslist.org/cto/d/thousand-oaks-pristine-chevy-silverado/7356322569.html
  3. try doing a search on craigslist LA, for "LTZ" I was amaized at what I found...
  4. must have installed the pcv incorrectly, did you install kit?
  5. you can find 2500's them in the GMT900 platform, also hemming.com has good deals on low milage trucks https://www.hemmings.com/classifieds/cars-for-sale/gmc/sierra?year_min=2008&year_max=2022
  6. check your pcv, .. you might have a backwards check valve in the catch can,
  7. let them know what, they already know, the product the gm engineers designed has been sabatoged by GM's sale engineers. increase the engine temp to 220 degrees, install high temp thermostat in thransmission, add punny engine radiator, ya da yada... there are a few other designed in flaws i wont mention. spend enough time on the forum and you'll get skooled boy!
  8. trailer package is not the same as MAX tow package i've source two part numbers for the radiators from GM
  9. when the Government doesn't want you to exceed you alotted miles driven per week, onstar will be there to shut your ****** down
  10. hypothetically , if the truck was for offloading/farm use only, and you where to delete the emissions stuff, what software would you use?
  11. I would figure a guy like you would have deleted the DEF tanks and software controls on your personal rig
  12. yeah makes sense pulling in 4th or 5th, you insrease the water Pump speed to the radiator. this helps cool it down,
  13. I tell everyone the 2500 is a better truck for doing truck stuff, like towing and blue collar work, 1500 are comfy commuters and towing maybe 100 miles in a day twice a week. more than this the wear and tear really kicks in i love the mechanical fan design so much better than the electric fans. to maintain 175 degrees on the motor in the K2, I runs the fans at 50% all the time, they wont turn off, because thats what it takes to cool the motor with the tiny radiator. might as well have installed a mechanical fan thats always pulling air.
  14. they dont suck when tuned and built correctly, it's the ****** GM has to do in the software to please the EPA's emmissions regulation and the general public driving style is what's killing the transmissions..
  15. I clipped the GPS sensor and took out the rearview mirror , so my Onstar is dead, lol
  16. the cooling system is very small, it barely keeps up with no headroom for power adders ive done data log on a 1/8th mile at wot and the heat from one pull was very high, throw a big trailer and driving up the Grapevine in CA. is doeable but its at the limits. you guys deffinatly need 175 t-stats and reprogram the fans to keep the temps down
  17. you need a MAXTow WT truck option. our little 5.3's aren't built to tow with our cooling system. your gear ratio sucks, but if you went with a 5th wheel trailer you could do it safely in 3.08 if you have the 8 speed transmission your fine, its just not a good ratio for the 6 speed trucks
  18. start a thread on your work if your motivated
  19. yeah the f*ed up the rebuild.
  20. if the thermostat has never been removed in the trans , I would say your pump is trashed. order a new pump, converter, and full rebuild kit.
  21. what software are you using to rip a movie to the drive??? i want to learn how to install a movie on a flash drive so i can watch while on a lunch break at work
  22. what did you do to adjust the maf curve, and what results did it yield?
