  1. No they have not. Saw a 100k+ 2015 GM yesterday with complete failure, sounds like shit, exact same as my 2008 Suburban failure.
  2. Let me know what you find, as I am going to be going in for the same issue as all of you. Is this something GM is covering outside of bumper to bumper warranty?
  3. beautiful truck and scene
  4. Glad I could motivate you to get their kit! I ran my 37s without regear for about 30K miles. No reason to regear IMO. And I towed heavy metal car trailers and big cars like Crown Vics, Tahoes, etc. My two cents I would have your front bumper color matched or get a replacement bumper. You have a beautiful color, and all these black accessories and trim, and then a random chrome front bumper. I'm going to be ordering this kit again for another 2014 I purchased. Glad it is working out for you.
  5. Interested in doing the DL3 to DQS but it looks like mirrors will be nearly 800 for the pair. Has anyone had documented success with an aftermarket alternative? I currently have an LTZ with indicator, puddle light, power fold, memory, and not sure on heated. Is there an aftermarket that retains power folding? I understand if I lose the memory function. Links to successfully purchased aftermarket/ebay sets are appreciated.

where did you get the kits
  7. Do you have any shots that are like chest or waist height from the side? curious to see how the gap looks. but it looks like you have gap covers, is this true? Also, how did you run the bull bar mounted to the frame with the body lift?
  8. 2 things to note. the 2wd 2014 silverados are the exact same height as the 4WD. ive measured multiple times. first generation to be like this. second, they told me that they had their seven inch kit coming out soon, more than 6 months ago. so it very well could be tomorrow, but not the case thus far. i have not had to trim the front valance like you have to almost every other generation. i did tear off the driver's side plastic trim piece that is on the wheel well right in front of the driver's door. in reverse at full lock it rubs those pieces slightly. IDK where you are, but i will be selling my 20" wheels as seen in my photos, and the used 35s (less than 50% tread) when you are ready.
  9. http://jdautoandtruck.com/maxtrac-6-lift-kit-07-14-gm-silverado-sierra-1500-k881364.html buy it from there, best price, and SUPREME customer service. there was an issue with my order on the supplier's end (maxtrac) but they went above and beyond and fixed it, shipping quickly to meet my deadlines, and were fantastic people. $713
  10. Something is askew. my 6" on 35s drives smooth as butter, i still max the governor out here and there, and with the difference in speedo/governor and actual speeds means it's bout 105MPH. mine pulls slightly to the right, but not enough to go back, even though i had a free follow up alignment. appreciate it man, not really; maybe if i wasnt missing the center cap in the back haha. ill get some quality photos up with the new lift/tires soon.
  11. go for it. my truck is 2wd so the lift is just a 3" spindle lift; cant really mess that up. and then the other 3 inches are from the spacer on the front suspension. no change in ride quality, suspension geometry remains unchanged, etc. i have a 4 block on the rear for the 6 up front, pretty level
  12. well im lined up to trade with a guy now, for 37 18s. im willing to make the wheel drop for the tires. id be interested and willing to drive a fair distance. PM me and we can text or call.
  13. Maxtrac 6" suspension lift 35/12.50/20 NItto Trail Grappler MTs 20 Raceline Rampage wheels Upgraded HD Bilstein rear shocks Lots of visual mods as you can see, painted front and rear chrome, bowties, debadged, plastidipped Texas Edition badges, tint, etc.
  14. I know on the 07 13 tahoes it is astronomical (or it was when they were new) to buy the console new from gm. They Nickle and dime you on all the small stuff, cupholders pocket pieces etc. Like the guy posted above, he paid that and it isn't even a complete center console
  15. Awesome thanks for going the extra mile boys. Will get my current setup pictures posted tonight
  16. On 35/20 now but about to go 37/18 unfortunately; will 18s fit on a Texas/all star edition equipped with 20s from the factory? 99.99993737% sure they will since the base models have 18s but want to confirm. And has anywhere here stacked a body lift on a suspension yet? Or will I be the guinea pig?
  17. Gotcha thanks I'll look into it. Need to replace tires soon might as well step up to 37s from 35s. Just gotta look into the whole issue with bumper/body gaps and the hitch if I raise the bumper since I tow frequently
  18. Any have pictures of a 3" body lift on the 14s? Curious of the frame hang. Have had a 6" suspension lift since the beginning of the year but need to post pics for y'all still
  19. http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/157310-danthaman69s-2014-silverado-z71/ he is running bds curious to see a side shot of that body lift; frame hanging down?
  20. that 13-16mpg on the highway is abysmal. i get 20mpg without trying commuting to work at 65 mph on cruise, going through about 10 miles of 30-50mph towns and stoplights. can get 22mpg without cruise and working the gas. 70 mile round trip. 2wd, all factory. almost 33% decrease doesnt seem right
  21. First post in four years! Thoughts on this article? I've heard that this is not true, but wanted to see what ya'll had to say. http://www.maxtracsuspension.com/blog/2014-silverado-sierra-1500-parts-fitment-update/#.U1Xkflfij-A
