  1. Found a picture of where I run it. Don't even think about it anymore... ETA...I never remove it, but I have found that I need to grease the pins. Truck lives in the dirt and mud.
  2. My trucks height with the trailers tounge adjusted to run level with the b&m tow and stow pinned in the 3rd hole down, does not hit the main and mid gates down. That's with no trailer hooked up. I had my wife put her fingers between the angled slope and the mid gate, while I stood and jumped on the mid gate step, enough to make the bed to move. I'm on the highside of 280# and still married.

  4. Ain't no flap in existence that will cure the melting salt spray drive!
  5. It's a couple of steps up from bungy straps and cardboard!
  6. Do you have a link? I can't find the side marker lights on their website. Thanks.
  7. I forgot about the Lock setting. If I'm in a situation where thievery might rear its ugly head, I hope I remember. Or better yet, not have to leave the farm.
  8. Sorry, old age getting to me. You are absolutely correct! It's in his manual. Somewhere around the beginning, like page 19...
  9. That procedure is for the pre-refresh.
  10. I'm surprised at the small gauge wire. 2ga is rated at 65amps at 12v. My calculations say you need 3/0ga for 12v, 500amp, 5% volt drop at a 6 foot length. ETA...this is for copper, not CCA.
  11. I have a question. If the system will play from an external cd player, won't it also play from a usb drive?
  12. I use one switch to power a relay which supplies a ground to the bcm to put it into surveillance mode. This allows me to drop the tailgate and not scare game away with the dam turn signal lights blinking 3 times at 4am. It's fine if gm wants to get all fancy and blink lights to warn people that something is going to happen when using the dash or fob buttons to drop the gate. But jesus f***ing christ, there is absolutely no reason, if I'm pushing the tailgate button!
  13. My spell check was off, I added a "n" to cut. Sorry.
  14. There are blunt cut wires on that harness that are controlled by the switches. You will just add your accessories to the wire. You will only have 4 wires/buttons that are available. Unless you grap the green wire out of the gray connector that plugs into the loose connector under the dash. That wire is for a roof light. It goes all the way under the headliner to the 3rd brake light housing. It is blunt **** along with a ground.
  15. Yes. But you need to drop the knee bolster to install the fusebox for the switches. No idea why gm assembly line don't install them.
  16. Yes and the pink bag
  17. The pink bag has the fuses and hardware for the battery fusebox.
  18. Seriously, the item on the left is is the underhood wiring harness from battery fuse block, 2nd is the fusebox for the switches mounted under dash going to a loose connector under dash and the switches, 3rd I'm not familiar with.
  19. The bag is zip ties.
  20. That's the problem, different dashes. Anything GMC AT4 and up on the refresh, has a different dash layout.
  21. I'm starting to get there. Getting too hard to get back up. Thinking this year, the farm is going to buy a lift. Farm equipment is still easy. It's all standing up to service, minus the semi.
  22. I have 3 of their throttle controllers. 1 on a 183ci diesel and 2 on 403 diesels. No complaints.
