  1. To each their own, one mans waste of $$ is another mans investment. Cheers
  2. Only useful if you need it, I have had trucks with winches I used daily in the winter and trucks with winches I never used at all. My winching days are over hopefully so THAT to me is a waste.
  3. If you have one it is plugged into the OBD connection point under the dash you will see it readily enough but must have been added by someone else unless you are the original owner.
  4. try folding in the towing mirrors, I had one with a chrome aftermarket cover on it that was a MF'er to figure out what the sound was. Bug shield?
  5. Do what YOU like, you never mentioned lowering it(other than making it stock) so I don't know why some are commenting on that................. Rear wings seem to get in the way and splitters are too low for me. This however looks pretty good and I am considering it wrapped to match on my truck. https://www.roughcountry.com/chevy-led-fascia-cover-kit-99028.html?find=2020-chevy-silverado-1500-4wd-740495 Only $300 bucks, seems not bad.
  6. Any pics please, as I am considering a canopy for my 2020 Silverado short bed.
  7. Just checking if this is in tow/haul mode?
  8. Are you plugged in to the factory plug in or has it been added to the truck aftermarket? And does it flash 3 times or just once and then reset after you plug it in just to do this all over again?
  9. Thanks, even though I bought my 2020 new off the showroom floor, and I asked for it they said they tossed it when prepping the truck for me to pick it up. I have found that every scrap of paper increases the value of vehicles.
  10. I see that this device has a throttle lock mode that disables the throttle pedal and is an app, that sounds pretty appealing if the remote start still works. SE0530-TC DLX Bluetooth® Throttle Controller: Silverado / Sierra (2019+) Suburban / Tahoe / Yukon / Escalade (2021+) & Cadillac CT5 (2020+) Best thing though would be to end the vehicle thefts in reality........LOL Vigilante style should be legal like it used to be for horse thieves.
  11. Honestly it was just on a planned daily driving "loop" in traffic and on a 45 mph open stretch of road before the install and again after. The outside temps were within 10 degrees of each other on that day from the morning until later in the afternoon.
  12. I have seen this drop tranny temps 20-25 degrees on a 2019 2ith a 5.3 https://transmissioncoolerguide.com/transmission-coolers/brands/tru-cool/40k/ No affiliation blah blah
  13. So, love the truck and the mods, I am on the East side of the Mountains, out of curiousity have you added up the cost of all your mods yet? I added mine not long ago, ZOIKS it goes up quickly but you have gone far beyond mine
  14. To be clear, my speeds posted while towing are in the wide open spaces of Nevada, Montana and Wyoming where there is little traffic and the posted limits are 75-80 mph other than for "trucks" which is generally 55 or 65 as per signage. My truck is set up properly for towing and is below the CGVW rating and I have passed many Highway patrols both static and moving while going those speeds with nary a second look. Just stating my facts, not defending anything or encouraging it in others. I concur that many/most drivers are incompetent and dangerous to themselves and those around them. I appreciate your post and did read it and have gained knowledge from it, thanks for sharing it.
  15. I get 6-8mpg with my 2020 6.2 RST towing my 24' enclosed car hauler@ 79-84 mph. At 150 miles I am looking for petrol in a serious manner. A bigger tank would really help and the space is under there easily enough,
  16. I just went out and measured and it actually DID add a few inches of width to my Silverado
  17. They do indeed look larger than they are in the pic, it is a frame from the vid so it is not accurately depicted, thanks for the input for sure! I was definitely unsure of my exact placement thoughts but wanted to stay a little away from the bowtie so that I would not detract from it too much. As always I am appreciative of your time and thoughts on these "upgrades". Cheers
  18. Guys this was an idea I got from some trucks on here and I think it really made my truck look more stylish on the front end and with the illuminated bow tie looks excellent. Quick and easy to do as well, LMK what you think of it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fl6_oV3QjZE
  19. I am trying, I am doing upgrades constantly and will share my trials and wins, just got a Corsa cat-back to install and might do it today! Gotta get my 33 Vicky ready for a var show tomorrow as well though
  20. Keep sharing Grumpy! Please
  21. That is what I had been seeing but this brand has a 3 year warranty and made in the USA so I went with it. One on ebay right now super cheap and a harness as well.
  22. No, but my 2020 had one that I just took off, the pics are on here in the for sale section, SUPER truck protection, but I am looking at a 2500HD and will be selling some parts off of this truck.
  23. I only need the passenger side, I am too damn ugly to look in any mirrors!
