  1. Wierd as I always had heard good things about them as well. But yeah these ones I can compress easily with ONE hand and 20k miles on them.
  2. Bilsteins (#6112 on the front and 5100's on the rear"REALLY firmed up my ride and reduced body roll significantly. The Bilstein 6112's on the front are actually for me too firm for my daily driving, however when I am towing my 24' enclosed car hauler it feels way more "planted' and safe in mountain passes and corners. The Ranchos that it came with were a VERY big surprise to me as to how crappy and easy to compress they were, I had no previous experience with that brand until this truck.
  3. Never an issue when installed properly and buying a quality American product to begin with,
  4. IMO the factory ones suck if you have a bed cover or canopy, they should have put one in EACH corner instead of just the back. I just installed LED strips all around the inside of the bed and made a video of it that I will post soon. It made a HUGE difference over the factory ones for me since I have a tri-fold hard cover and need to get up in there at night frequently. Again had GM put them in each corner it would be great for everyone.
  5. Guys I was on the fence on this one as I have seen some crappy products and seemingly crappy installs but then I saw a Putco one in action and was impressed by the brightness and clarity, it looked like it belonged on the truck. I found one on Amazon that was one of their "open box" deals and grabbed it for half price, I LOVE it and the install was painless. Plus It is a RARE opportunity to support a 100% American owned company based in Iowa and keeping my $$$ HOME where we need it. Check it out and any questions or comments please LMK I am NOT a professional but try my best to do things right. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LomLsGOpSL0
  6. I won't go to 6k anymore I changed it this time @ 30% life left and that seems pretty good to me it was very close to 3700 miles hahah I am old school and it seems like 6-7k is just too much for me maybe if I did 4500 miles it would be a happy medium that I could accept
  7. Thanks I was unaware of the extension, thanks for the info. I have however since started dumping it/checking it every few thousand miles and am always happy that I am using it as there is always plenty of "crap" in it.
  8. Just showing the results to you guys, no affiliation etc. I am glad I have it myself, for the $$ it seems like a great investment.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y68uotFnBgE
  9. Guys, this is the BEST front end protection that I could find for my truck, in the Pacific NW there are deer, elk and moose on the roads and I have seen them total out a truck easily. There are youtube vids of guys hiiting deer with these bumpers and it doesn't even slow em down. I am asking half of what it cost me at $800 bucks, for $850 you can use your credit card and pay me with Paypal etc if needed. I am in Eastern Wa and have other truck stuff for this model available. This follows the body lines perfectly and protects front fenders as well as you can see in the pics. I can help you load it up. Both brackets AND I have a set of GM fog lights installed in it already. Works with your parking sensors or it has rubber plugs for the sensor holes if you don't need them. PM and then we can talk or text, if you want a package deal on an array of things for this truck we can deal and perhaps meet a hundred or so miles either direction from me. link to the bumper. https://www.ranchhand.com/fsc19hbl1c-2019-2021-chevrolet1500-summitfrontbumper.html Cheers
  10. Sorry for late response had some injuries, LOVE em on the rear much better than stock Ranchos better towing and empty handling and stability improved.
  11. The Ranch Hand summit that I just took off my truck worked with sensors etc, here it is, I am selling mine for $800 half of what it cost me just because I am looking at trading in/up to a 2500HD. https://www.ranchhand.com/fsc19hbl1c-2019-2021-chevrolet1500-summitfrontbumper.html The Legend appears to work with the sensors/camera as well.
  12. Guys this went extremely well, I procrastinated until the weather broke up here, LOL I need not have done so.
  13. $4.07 for regular and $4.41 is the cheapest premium in Spokane area right now, you cannot send wifey to that part of town though, because all the druggies at that intersection.
  14. Boost makes excellent products and user friendly installs but WOW those are pricey, when you option them up the way most would want them.
  15. You seemingly are correct, thanks for your kind response.
  16. They bolt to the frame, there are plugs to remove, ALL running boards from GM for these models mount to the same locations.
  17. I agree and then you will know it is done properly, most "mechanics" these days are not professionals if you do find one they are very valuable and very busy. A jack, 2 safety stands, an allen wrench set, a deep socket set, aforementioned 10mm, torque wrench and a few hours and you are good to go and saving hundreds.
