That sounds like the "time out" issue talked about in other threads. When you come out of reverse, if you have the feature turned on in the menus, they should return to the memory saved position.

It did, as does my 2015. In reverse, set your mirrors to where you want them then place in Park. They will return to that position (if feature is on) each time you put it in reverse. Just checked it...

Where would you put the trailer brake controller and the Transfer case Knob?

523 is average according to my Torque app.

If it's a problem, then my 2000 and 2006, both of which made the exact same noise, had it, and never had an actual "repair". Never even replaced the transfer case fluid in either.

Both of my last two Chevy's did this from the day they were bought to the day I sold them over 100k miles. The sound is normal and won't cause an issue.

The majority of parts in a car have metal shavings, including the engine. It is more a matter of size, where they're coming from, and if they're due to damage or not.

Yep, that's 100% correct. Having had 3 Chevy's over the past 15 years with Auto, this behavior is consistent.

Auto 4WD is not the same as 4HI The statements below indicates that it behaves significantly differently than 4HI. AUTO (Automatic Four-Wheel Drive): This setting is ideal for use when road surface traction conditions are variable. Do not use AUTO mode to park on a steep grade with poor traction such as ice, snow, mud or gravel. In AUTO mode only the rear wheels will hold the vehicle from sliding when parked. If parking on a steep grade, use 4HI to keep all four wheels engaged. AUTO (Automatic Four-Wheel Drive): Use when road surface traction conditions are variable. When driving in AUTO, the front axle is engaged, and the vehicle's power is sent to the front and rear wheels automatically based on driving conditions. This setting provides slightly lower fuel economy than 2HI.

That's the problem with all 20's... They look nice, but ride quality is greatly diminished.

Sadly in Texas we can't tint the windshield... Note: Windows immediately to the right and left of the driver that have less than 25% light transmission will fail inspection, regardless of the year model of the vehicle. A medical exemption is required, only if the citizen needs tint on the two front windows darker than the 25% requirement. Windshield Sunscreening devices can be applied to the windshield if all of the conditions below are met. Sunscreening devices must be applied above the AS-1 line. If there is no AS-1 line, sunscreening devices must end five inches below the top of the windshield. Sunscreening devices may not be red, amber, or blue in color. Sunscreening devices, when measured in combination with the original glass, must have a light transmittance value of 25% or more. Sunscreening devices, when measured in combination with the original glass, must have a luminous reflectance value of 25% or less. A clear (un-tinted) UV film is allowed anywhere on the front windshield without a medical exemption being required.

Didn't work for me on my 2015 z71.

You'll definitely have to loosen the sway bar, the ball joint and the top of the strut, you might have to loosen the steering linkage.
