  1. Through GM or the lemon law?
  2. Well i just got this back from GM customer service on here, unfortunately they were as useless as I feared. "Again, we truly apologize for the ongoing displeasure. After extensive review with the dealership and our internal resources, it's been determined your truck is operating as designed at this time. We recognize this isn't the resolution you were seeking; however, please know we've exhausted all available resources on our end at this time. If you'd like to accept our accessories certificate offer, we're more than happy to get it processed for you. Feel free to reach out in the future if you have further questions." I still need a third visit to lemon law this truck, but I don't want to. I'd lose about $3500 from the xpel, painted bumpers, line-x and i'm quite fond of her minus the vibes. I might try a driveshaft shop for shits and giggles to see if they can balance the drive shaft and effect it at all. I didn't beat cancer to have a new truck handle like this, and be treated like this grrrrrrr
  3. 3,800 miles on the truck and the catch can was installed as soon as the truck got home from the dealership. The liquid is dark like oil, but it's very thin like water. No milky substance form oil/water mix at all. Not sure what exactly it's made of, but I'm glad it's not going through my intake
  4. Yea, I took several moments and I still don't get that plate
  5. I did have a problem getting the clips to seat. I ended up closing the doors and almost doing a pullup off each door. After doing that all the clips did seat
  6. Just about perfect for me. Ideally I'd like them to stick out further, but then they would throw sand/salt/road grime all over the sides of the truck
  7. Now that it's getting hotter here, 70-80, I've noticed the vibrations are all but gone. I'm willing to bet they come back this fall
  8. Got the truck back from attempt number 1 from the dealership. They replaced two tires due to RF balancing weights being 33 an 19 lbs. New tires were 6 and 3 lbs. They also did the recall for TC lockup shutter. And instead of the vibrations coming in at 60-65mph they come in at 70-75 and get worse from there. Back for attempt #2..
  9. I called TRS and according to them I am the only one with this issue, but the bulbs are so long you can't fit the connector inside the housing or it hits the caps. Earlier in this post someone suggested heaating up the caps to stretch them, but I have not tried this yet. Got any left?
  10. Mine must have heard me call the dealership last night. Today's commute to and from work on the highway was vibration free. I really don't understand how random the vibrations are.
  11. My 6.2 kit came with plenty for the battery box mounting location, but my brothers 5.3 kit was short by a lot so he also had to buy a second hose to be able to mount in the battery box.
  12. I have 275 tires with +18mm offset and weathertech mudgaurds, the bubble of the sidewall is out past the mudguards, but the actual tread is barely inside. With the +20mm offset and 295 tires you would be 8mm further out than me. With the +1 offset you would be 27mm further out than me. If you are worried about paint chips, I would go with the +20
  13. Yup, pretty much. All those contaminants now collect in the catch can along with oil vapor and water instead of going back into your intake.
  14. I know that creating a vacuum by connecting the pcv to the intake more efficiently pulls combustion gasses out of the crankcase so they don't settle out in the oil.
  15. That's almost what I have been thinking. I've done everything to my truck myself because I haven't had a good track record of dealerships treating vehicles with the respect I do Vibration was from the start off and on to varying degrees. I should have brought it right in when I got the truck, but oh well. Truck has 1300 miles on it now and to be honest the vibrations are slowly getting softer, but far from gone.
  16. I went to the local dealership and got the run around. They said there is nothing they can do, and I should come back at a later date to see if GM has a fix. I talked to them about the drive shaft balancing or other ideas and they said nope all we can do is re balance the tires and weren't receptive to trying anything else. I might try another dealership or give GM some time to figure it out.
  17. What are you guys torquing your lug nuts too for aftermarket wheels? In the paperwork for the rockstars I have they recommend using your vehicle oem torque specs (140 lb ft), but then give a suggestion of roughly 100 lb ft based on lug nut size. I originally put them on with 100 lb ft, but it got me thinking.
  18. Got my girl some new shoes. 275/55r20 General Grabber UHP on 20x9 Rockstar II +18mm offset
  19. I'm trying to get some tires mounted on some black rockstar II's and I can't find a shop that will. I get either we can't guarantee we won't scratch them or we don't mount tires we didn't sell. Who knew this would such an ordeal, I wouldn't have purchased them online if I knew it was going to be this difficult.
  20. That's why I steer clear of threads where people talk about their wives/gfs. I don't need that sort of temptation, I'm quite conent with what I have now.
  21. I had my chome ones painted
  22. Yes, I'm not a fann of the chrome wheels, I have black ones in the box, I just need to get tires mounted on them
  23. I got the color matched pieces on the front end
