  1. My seat doesn't move but I did the hose clamp fix anyway to make sure it doesn't.
  2. Yea it's hard to understand that one. On my '10 Silverado I went from 17's to 22's with no noticeable difference and went from 20's to 22's on my '14 with no difference as well.
  3. I've removed the blocks in the last 3 GM trucks I've owned using stock U bolts and nuts with "zero" problems. It levels the truck nicely. I just had to lower my headlights a tad.
  4. You buy a 4X4 full size truck and are concerned about maybe pennies in mileage between an 18" and 20" wheel tire combo? Lol...
  5. I love 22's. I have factory chrome GM CK919 wheels with Bridgestone tires. Ride great. No shakes or vibration. I put 22's on my last 3 GM trucks.
  6. MY '14 Sierra 5.3, factory chrome CK919 22" wheels, Bridgestone tires, Carriage Works grille, Gibson dual rear exit exhaust, LED fogs, 6000K Xenon bulbs, leveled rear.
  7. How many miles do you have? Can you describe the vibration? Speed, steering wheel, floorboard console etc?
  8. Apparently you and the other customer reps don't care. If you or GM would care y'all would put more effort in the matter. Just coming on the forum and stating the same repetitive posts and being a 3rd party between the dealer and customer doesn't make these guys feel any better. Can't you see this? If you work for GM, why don't you send this link to the upper GM management and let them read these 3500 + posts and see how these customers feel about how GM is treating when buying a $40-$50K truck. Loyal GM customers are really hurt by what GM has done to them and how a fix hasn't been found for the shaken, vibrating trucks. Surly someone with GM cares somewhere but no one steps up to the plate. Customers are switching brands, the word is getting out, some have bought GM all their lives and will never buy another GM again. Professional grade? Really. It's really sad, pitiful, awful, and horrible what's going on here. Is this what GM wants? Do they care? Apparently not. Do they not care about all the customers wanting buy backs, filing lemon laws, BBB etc? Do you not have other contacts in the chain of command or upper management? You must have. This goes for all the customer care reps hanging around on the forum not just you. Does Mrs. Barra or Mr. Ammann really care about 237 pages of complaints??? How about Mrs. Davis with quality and customer experience? If you care and want to help please find the right person to fix this mess and web that GM has created. It would be nice for one of you reps to come on and say "I've forwarded these complaints to the proper management and will stay on it". When will the madness stop? GM won't be known as the leader but the shi****st in the auto industry. GM's bread and butter are Silverado/Sierra trucks. Not Caddi's and Vettes. Take care of the customers that took care of them and who believed in them. Just terrible GM!! Terrible.... Mrs. Barra's mission statement: GM is driving to become the global industry leader in automotive design and technology, product quality and safety, customer care. Really???
  9. That's freakin terrible. BBB, lemon law, atty. Hey Eddie A. with Customer care, can you help this guy now???? If Customer care is so eager to help and ya'll are so sorry to hear of the problem forward all these complaints to Mrs. GM herself. Forward to upper management. Engineers??? Can you not do that??? Geez GM this is horrible! My truck doesn't vibrate but reading all this makes my stomach turn and GM is leaving a really bad taste. I'm really loosing confidence... Un F**I<**G believable!
  10. Does turning the screw counter or clockwise raise or lower?
  11. Can't you forward all these complaints to the proper authorities and upper management so they can find the problem????
  12. Yes, there are 3 mounting tabs. The top tab has a Phillip's head. You can't see the screw as it's down in the black plastic tube.
  13. Except most 4.3's have a 3.23 differential and 3.23 isn't available with 5.3. My 5.3 doesn't have a shake and I have 3.42. When I was having service work on mine, they let me go kick around in a 4.3 with 3.23 and 31 miles on it. I have been keeping up with this thread so i wanted 2 give it a test. Right above 70 "voila". Shake and bake. This truck had Continental tires. My truck had GY (now has Bridgestone 22's. I'm still leaning towards the transmission with those who had rear ends and tires replaced and still have shakes.
  14. I know this is off topic from the thread but actually the manifolds are made of cast iron also known as grey iron. Prone to rusting. I've been having my truck about 3 months and has rust on them but not quite as much as shown. Common though.
  15. And I totally understand but why don't you ever hear from an engineer or some one up the chain who can do something about issues. My 14 Sierra doesn't vibrate like most do and my seat doesn't move but I feel for these guys who spend $50K or so for a truck and have to deal with this crap... It would solid discouraging. When the reps chime in I'm sure it doesn't make those guys feel any better because the end result is pretty much the same. It's easy to copy and paste we're sorry to hear you're having a problem but it doesn't seem easy to forward these complaints and issues to the ones who can do something about these issues.
  16. These GM reps who chime in are clueless and have no bearing or significance on fixing issues. It's the same old fake apology and is totally useless....
  17. When will the madness ever stop. 2014 North American vibrator of the year.
  18. Wow...that's terrible...
  19. It's not a point of just having the fogs on when on bright, dim or parks. I wanted them on all the time and I also wanted them come on when I turn on the ignition and not have to turn them on every time I get in the truck. I'm using them as DRL's with LED bulbs. Would you like to have to turn your radio and a/c on every time you got in your truck? My point is those stay on until you turn them off yourself and that's my complaint with the fogs. With the fogs, every time you turn the ignition off and get back in the truck you have to turn them on again. They should stay on until you decide to turn them off. Just my opinion.
  20. Do you have this electrical manual? https://www.gmupfitter.com/files/media/photo/474/2014%20BBM%20Electrical%20section_10_18_2013_WIP.pdf
  21. Because I wanted my fogs on all the time and not just have them on when I go to high beams. I want to use my fogs as DRL's also with the LED bulbs. When I turn on the ignition the fogs come on. I think it's stupid that every time you kill the truck and get back in it you have to turn the fogs again. If you turn the fogs on they should stay on until you turn them off. It's like having to turn the radio on again every time you get in the truck. The radio stays on until you turn it off. Now when I turn on the ignition, they come on whether the headlights are on bright or not. I have no switches. Why'd I go through all the trouble? The project wasn't any trouble. It's a hobby for me and I enjoy doing things like this. I also restore motorcycles. I could buy them already restored but enjoy doing it. On the mod I did, I soldered all my splices, used heat shrink and put wires in loom. It's nice and neat. If for some reason I need to go back stock, all I have to do is unplug my harness and plug the factory harness back. The factory harness wasn't cut or altered in any way.
  22. I purchased 2 harnesses, and a fuse tap. and ran the fogs direct bypassing the factory system. Works perfect and the factory harness/wiring is left stock and unused. You can get the mini fuse tap if you want fogs to come on anytime the lights are on or a micro mini fuse tap if you want them to come on every time the ignition is on. I also upgraded to the projector LED bulbs and are awesome. Much better than the SMD LED bulbs. The bulbs I have project on the reflector and not like a bunch of SMD's. http://www.ebay.com/itm/121198281908?_trksid=p2060778.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT http://www.ebay.com/itm/221522570678?_trksid=p2060778.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
  23. Wow.... did he feel the shake or say anything about it after driving it? What speed does the truck shake @?
  24. Yea that's odd... something's not normal with that. Yea that's odd... something's not normal with that.
  25. I think they are full of it. AFM transition is smooth and smooth even in 4 cyl mode and doesn't cause a vibration. My 2013 AFM was smooth as well.
