Hi everyone, I have a problem with my 4l60e tranny in my 96 Chevy Tahoe 5.7L Vortec. My trans won't shift to 4th gear. When I put shifter into overdrive position and start acceleration trans normaly shifts through 1-2-3 gears. After that RPM goes to 3000 - 3100 but car won't accelerate no more and I get 62 mph and 3000 - 3100 rpm. In shown in this video. https://www.youtube.com/embed/t0zkwD9MMd4 In good case when all work fineI have 80 mph at 2500 rpm. https://youtu.be/hAd4f2r_9sQ After diagnostic I replaced TPS sensor and brake switch, but problem won't go away. What could be the problem ?

TIA for your help and time… BLUF: Ticking noise under truck, not heard from top of engine compartment. I noticed a ticking/clicking/pinging noise under my truck today, took a video, hopefully you can hear it. Anyone else? Truck was in Park and Neutral (Parking brake engaged) and still heard the sounds.

Hey guys, I have a 2017 Silverado 1500. A month or 2 ago I had to get the transmission replaced, it’s still shifting very odd and just feels off. Jerking when going into certain gears, doesn’t want to shift at times etc. Is there anything I should take care of myself before taking it to the dealership again… this new trans has a 3 year warranty. Sorry that I am not the best at explaining issues like this, so any help is much appreciated

I am looking to replace my sensor and the harness as they are known to be bad and causing the p0711 code. In my research I found the 2015 has a split harness but they changed it in 2016 to a one piece harness and then I believe they went back to the split one, not sure which year. What is the part number for the sensor and harness? I've looked everywhere and can't find nothing, plenty of threads but noone has mentioned part numbers and acdelco website does not have a part listed in their catalog for that year.. nor does any parts site like napa or autozone

Getting some pretty nasty sounds from my transmission and wondering exactly what it may be. It seems to only make this sound when in Park or Neutral and also when the truck warms up, does not make this sound during start up when cold. Truck has about 152,300 miles and i had replaced all the fluid, filter and two solenoids at 148,600 miles 7 months ago. I'm pretty much expecting the worst here, but if anyone could give me some more insight as to whats going on besides it probably dying, i'd appreciate it. Clips of sounds here: https://youtu.be/blljaS5cpcI https://youtu.be/8T5tSLoT8aA https://youtu.be/wVcztpMtngc https://youtu.be/lfWhm7fJrYs

Has anyone ever tried changing the aluminum line to rubber hose crimps for the transmission and oil cooler lines out for AN fittings on and 07-13 Sierra 5.3L? I have a 2013 Sierra and the cold here in Canada isn’t kind to these crimps as I believe the rubber and aluminum have different shrink rates because of difference in material causing them to leak. Replacing them will not solve the problem as the will just do the same thing every year. So what I want to know is if anyone has successfully done this and what fittings did you use?

I’ve got a 94 Chevy k1500 with the 4l60e transmission. I have lost reverse completely, it will rev up to 2000 ish rpm in reverse and nothing, but that’s as high as it will go. It also drives forward in neutral but it acts like its in first and won’t shift up. In drive it drives completely normally, all the gears, smooth shifting etc. I just put this transmission in this truck and I got it from someone that I trust who said it worked fine, and when I first put it in everything was normal. But after a day of driving the truck now it has this issue. I’ve checked the fluid level and it’s where it should be as well as adjusting the shift linkage, and even disconnecting it and trying to shift it manually and same result. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
