I've decided to sell or trade my current truck. I haven't taken pics yet, but here are some of the details:

 

2001 Chevrolet Silverado C2500HD CCSB LS

124,600 miles

8.1L (496ci) V8, Allison auto, 4.10 axle ratio

Pewter w/charcoal gray interior

 

Exterior has a very clean look and features include black step bars, black diamond plate bedrail caps, Rhino liner, bed pre-wired for 5th wheel, towing package, 45 gallon factory replacement fuel tank, chrome bowtie, billet grille, true dual exhaust, 285s on factory wheels.

 

Interior has power everything (windows, locks, steering, seats, mirrors), full console, AM/FM/CD, tilt, cruise, A/C, compass/self-dimming mirror, etc.

 

This truck is in very good shape; it looks and runs good, the A/C is cold, and the big block sounds awesome with that dual exhaust. I will discuss and address minor issues with/for the buyer (e.g. fresh alignment, grease clutch slip yoke). I have all maintenance records from the time I've owned it. Since purchasing the truck, I have run Mobil 1 EP 5W-30 in the engine, changed the transmission over to Allison TranSynd synthetic fluid, and cleaned and refilled the differential with Royal Purple.

 

My new job has me commuting 50-60 miles a day, and it doesn't make sense for me to drive "Tex" anymore. If someone out there is looking for a big block, here's your truck. This was the highest-rated towing configuration in '01. I'm asking $8,900 and will consider reasonable offers. If the interest isn't there, I'll trade it in...
