Is there any difference between the hd and non hd frames? Specifically the body mount heights?

1500hd or 2500hd? and on 2500hd there is a small factory body lift on there, but the frame itself? frames are diff on hds, and as i said about body mount hights, i think the mount hights are the same, but the hd had factory body lift. small, but its there.

i replaced the frame in my 04 3500 hd but i think i may have gotten a non hd frame cause the torsion keys are cranked up but the 305 bfg's still rub and it rides like a tank with the keys turned up so high.

u might try asking in the hd section, may be a lil more know all there.

look for the stamping on the frame...that should help...why was the frame replaced? that was a big project no doubt...

I would look into what components increase the body lift on the HD platform and see if they are present on your setup...
