Instrument Cluster Question

Recommended Posts

All,

A couple of lights have burned out in my instrument cluster, right where the speedometer is. Are these light bulbs or LEDs? Are they replaceable? I used to have an old '90 Silverado where I could take out the front cover of the cluster and replace bulbs as necessary.

I unscrewed the cluster and unplugged the wiring and took it out. Seems like I can take it apart; however, I'd like to see if anyone here has done so and if it is replaceable before I do that.

Lots of folks have repaired burnt out bulbs on their instrument clusters....you'll have to disassemble it and do some soldering though. The "search" function should yield plenty of info...
