Another Ipod Adapter Thread

-- '01 Silverado work truck with stock '02 CD player --

I'm looking for an adapter. What I want to do is be able to plug this adapter into the back of my CD player, and be able to use my iPod to play music through the speakers. I do NOT want to control my iPod through the CD player, I want to use my iPod like I would if it was hooked up to headphones. Any links would be great. Thanks fellas.

i have one for it that will be coming outta my truck. It's Peripheral. Was $105 shipped new but will sell it for $75 shipped. It's only 2 months old. It will be coming out end of next week if you can wait. I'm outta town so your adapter harness is at my house. The kit came with 3 adapters for many different GM vehicles. One for my stock h/u is slightly different;)~Cole~

**PS. the one i have plugs into your changer plug that isn't used. You can control the ipod thru the h/u

Thanks for the offer. What I don't understand is why these things are so expensive? I mean even at a used price I could buy a used Pioneer head unit or something to that tune.

EDIT: This is not towards you at all, I think your price is very reasonable compared to what you paid new, just wondering why they are $100 + new.

the nice thing is you can retain a stock radio which is a theft deterant since it's a stocker:) They are spendy because of stock integration and they are nice peices of work really. I wanted to keep stock radio and stuff so i got it. Then i got sick of my navigation being stuck to the windshield and got a Kenwood navi unit~Cole~
