SWDoodle Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 I'm in the market for a tuner. I know that custom tunes are the best, but I don't live close to a tuner and I'm hesitant doing a mail order deal and having problems. So right now I've narrowed my choices down to the Diablo Predator and the Bullydog. Read reviews of both. It seems split between the two as far as likes/dislikes. What I need more info on is removal of TM. It says you can with the Predator but the Bullydog only lists "transmission tuning". I'm assuming that's the same. I'm leaning towards the Bullydog because of a feature called driving coach. Whereas it's supposed to help fuel economy and driving habits. Has this tuner been out a while or is this something new? I noticed they also have a E3 downloader. Looks like that has less features. Don't know too much about this stuff, just need a little more pep out of my 2005 2500HD 6.0/4.10.
SWDoodle Posted September 14, 2009 Author Posted September 14, 2009 Saw this advertised today on Muscle Car TV show. Anyone have any experience with it? It looks intresting but have yet to find anyone who has actually used it.
shocktrp Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 I used it on my 08 - there is no TCM support for the NBS. Also, with the regular gas performance tune I could hear pinging - so I basically only use it to remove the top speed limiter.
