I have a rattling cat and need to replace. 135,000 miles. I see Magnaflow makes direct replacement as well as Maremont, both of them the whole Y-Pipe assembly. The Magnaflow states 2WD only though, is this correct? I can get the Maremont for $359 from Autozone, any other recommendations?

Thanks, Dale

I went ahead and ordered the Maremont converter from AutoZone, should be in this afternoon. Little worried about fitment, but we will give her a try. Any suggestions, sounds like I might have to remove the tranny cross member to get it in and out?

Y-pipe/Cat assembly replaced successfully Saturday. I did have to remove the tranny cross member to install it. Manifold studs and nuts were a pain to get off and I think I have an exhaust leak driver side manifold/y-pipe connector.

No exhaust gaskets on the new nor old which suprised me a bit and I think I may have to replace the studs since they don't seem to tighten up as well as they should. I suppose I would have to remove the manifolds to get those darn studs out huh, not much room underneath to get a vice grip on them.

Check Engine light is still on, hopefully it will go off this week, but no rattling.
