OK, i'm concerned about the gov. limiter ?

 

How do i run my truck on the dyno ?

 

what is the closest gear to 1:1 with me having a 4L80E tranny ?

 

i've got 4.10 gearing but the governor is set at 100mph (160kmh) will it hit the governor before i finish the 1:1 gear ?

 

I've got 245/75R16 on it now...

3rd gear is 1:1. Some times they will run in a lower gear to get the full RPM range.

Why do you want a 1:1 gear? A 1:1 gear is only necessary on an inertia dyno, if you are doing it on a tuning dyno (ie. load bearing dyno) then a 1:1 doesn't matter.
