Retrofitting Alpine Cda-9855r

Ok, since my BOSE head unit got stolen, i've been considering installing a CDA-9855R to get some tunes in the truck...

 

thieves went off with one of the rear speakers as well and cut all the wiring so it looks as if i have to rewire the whole stuff

 

Have any of you tried using aftermarket head-units with the BOSE speakers ? i know they're either 1 or 2 ohms so i'm thinking of replacing them as well but i'm trying to keep this on a low budget.

 

I know i have to replace them rear speakers, and the BOSE ones are so pricy that i think i'll be going with Alpine Type-Rs if i can in the back, what dimension are the rear speakers ?

 

Now if i have to replace the speakers in front, what are the dimensions on these speakers ? If i decide not to, how is the wiring diagram for the front speakers, is there a crossover unit placed somewhere or was it located in the head unit (i don't know why i'm asking i'm just getting ideas here)

 

I am a Alpine / Rockford Fosgate type of guy, but for the truck i think i'd be going all Alpine.

 

My truck is a Extended Cab with 4 doors (2 suicidal), i know some of you guys have been installing subwoofers on your trucks, how do you go by this? Do you make a custom enclosure to fit where my under seat toolbox is placed?

 

If i come to the conclusion that i have to replace the whole everything, i was thinking of going all Alpine Type-R and using a 4channel amp 4 the speakers and two monoblocks for 2 subs ?

 

Would this be a overkill or does the passanger compartment suit such a setup ?
