Looking For A Muffler?

I've been reading between this forum and a couple others and am trying to find a new muffler for my 5.3 09 crew cab. I DO NOT want anything too loud and it seems from the info I gather, Corsa would be my best bet. Looking for a little rumble at idle but I don't want to really "notice" it in the cab while I'm driving on the highway. I could care less about a catback system and do not want to spend the money on one so I figure a muffler would be the way to go. BTW, not looking for any big performance gain...

Any suggestions?

Yes I do!! GM accessories sells a touring muffler. I just bought the catback system for my truck, but I believe you can buy just the muffler. It has a very deep low rumble at startup and a slight growl when you accelerate, but nothing too aggressive. Like you, I did not want that loud droning in the cab when i was at highway speeds. This is a great sound and made by Borla.

However...after more research..they MAY only have the whole catback system. It is worth checking out however for it sounds great...not obnoxious.

Flowmaster 50 Series muffler. Nice deep tone ...smooth not raspy like some of the others. Fifty series is mellower than the 40/44 series.
