Service Stabilitrak & Traction Control

Hello all, Climbed into my truck tonight and all was normal. 5 minutes into my drive, the DIC is displaying Service Traction Control & Service Stabilitrack messages. The ABS light is also on. It is -22 celsius and very slippery out but I was only using 2wd. Any help is appreciated as the dealer is closed until the 28th. Truck has 25 000 km on it.

I've had this happen to my V-Max too, but when it happened to my truck it was a sunny day. What I did was I turned off the truck and let it rest for couple of minutes. Then when I turned on the truck a couple of minutes later both messages faded and it's been a couple off months and none of these messages have come up again.

If your still getting the messages with each start up, you might try unhooking the battery for several minutes, that will reset the system, and hopefully the messages you were getting were just a fluke and they will go away

I would unplug the computer. Open the hood, look behind the drivers headlight. There are two harness connections to the computer. Slide the red clips back and then push in behind them, this will unlock the connection and then flip the handles. Leave it unpluged about 10 minutes.
