Hummer / Tahoe Part Interchangeability?

As you may know, the Hummer has a full time four wheel drive system. The Tahoe's 4WD system is a part time system.

 

Since many GM parts are interchangeable, I was wondering if a Hummer transfer case would fit a Tahoe.

most of the hummers didn't have the 4l60e tranny, as the H2's have a 6.0 liter..

 

I have a full time tahoe, and the t-case is not your only concern.. you will have to change the front diff(no disconnect, beefier unit), driveshaft, and god knows hoow much wiring..

That project would get very complicated, time consuming, and expensive really fast. I'd stay away from that idea if it were me. Just trade up to a Hummer or an Escalade if you want AWD.
