Firestone Destination Mts

Firestone is having a "Buy 3 get 1 Free" sale on their Destination MTs through the end of the month. I'm curious if anyone has run 'em and what the reviews from here are.

 

BTW, looking at 275/70R18 for an '07 NNBS (w/2" level). Tall and skinny

I had some on my old Tacoma, they are very good tires. You wont be disappointed either. They do amazing in the mud. They are a very hard rubber tire so they get plenty of mileage out of them.

 

They do not do well on wet pavement. They have little traction when the streets are wet, but they are a mud tire not a street tire.

What I'm looking for is inputs from others on this site...people who have actually driven on them, how they fair, etc.

Don't know about the MT's but I have the AT's and love 'em. Great ride, aggressive looking, the right mix of off road and on road for me.

I have a set of dayton timberline MT's which firestone makes, and the tread is nearly identical.. I have about 30 K on them, and they are holding out great... I use my truck in the woods 50% of the miles, and the tires are wonderful in the clay,, which is unusual.. in clay usually the only tires that do well are the large void tires, like buckshots, swampers, ect..

 

they get a 9+ on my scale of 1-10
