after 130,000 miles of TROUBLE free miles[only replaced on fuel pump- AND the current PROBLEM]]. i'm replacing most components- FPR, IAC, flowed and matched injectors[only one not up to 'snuff'!],rerouted fuel inj. supply lines.

Everything else was with in OEM spec's. But, my throttle cable is frayed[when i open throttle- it does NOT give WIDE-OPEN throttle!!! how long this was true is unknown. i read post on gas pedal removal. there is no problem removing cable from there, but HOW do U REMOVE throttle cable FROM THROTTLE BODY??????

Pop up a pic.

It should be clipped on by a little plastic clip...you push it forward and pull sideways. It has a little key hole slot in it that slides over a pin on the throttle plate operating crank.

Or it looks like this and you remove it just how it looks here
