Wtb: Spare Tire Hoist/cable

Hi guys, I need a spare tire hoist cable or assembly for my '00 Silverado. The cable was cut so I am not sure if I need just the cable or the entire assembly. Anyhow, let me know!

I don't think you can get the lift part open to replace the cable. I bought a new one off of ebay from the user schramautoparts. I just looked and they don't have one listed for a 2000, but you could probably email them. They have one listed for $34.95+shipping for an 07-09. When I got mine, it looked exactly like the original one except it didn't have the GM logo, but it was made in the USA. Good Luck!

I'll have to ask him. I was hoping for a cheaper used one but If nobody contacts me I guess I'll have to go that route

I bought one from schramautoparts aswell. Perfect fit and has the same part number as the OEM unit stamped on it.

Couldnt go wrong for $35 considering the dealers up here wanted over $270 for a new one.

You want cheaper than $35? That's going pretty low, I'd recommend that route. If you went to a junk yard, you might be able to get one cheaper, but who knows. For $35, I'd rather have a new one.

Hey I have one. It is either from my old 05 or my 08 I cannot remember. If i do some searching i can probably find both of them. I believe they are the same, dont hold me to it though.

I'd like to know if you still have your '04 hoist available. I have an '04 Duramax 2500HD and need a new hoist. How much do you want to sell it for? My zip is 97760.
