Gmc Leveling Kit

Well guys, I finally got a leveling kit for my 1996 C2500. Before I even looked at the install, I was thinking I could compress the spring, slip in the spacer, and I'd be all set, boy was I wrong. I should have known it couldn't be that simple, but anyway. I had to remove the shock, un-hook the swaybar, and then drop the whole lower control arm. It did go much better than I had planned though. Also I had it aligned, and I new it was out of alignment slightly before, but this made it terribly out of alignment.

About the leveling kit, it is an aluminum spacer that is placed beneath the spring. I purchased it from Suspension Max.com, they don't list ones for 2500's on their site, but they do have them. It looks like this:
