Just out of curiosity I was looking at the LS327 which is rated at 327Hp. What I'm curious is how do they dyno a long block? obviously they put an intake and exhaust manifold of some sorts on it, but what? I ask because if the engine is making 327HP, would it make more power with a high performance intake manifold, such as the FAST unit, and headers? or could they already dyno the engine with headers on it and that's where the 327 HP is coming from?
